Last week I was asked to give a speech at the annual SeeMe Volunteer Celebration to share his experience of being a volunteer. I was nervous, and somewhat reluctant, but I know what I want to say; is worth saying. And, I cannot let fear hold me back. So I went ahead and took to the stage.
EarfulReads #2: Kieran reads a passage from one of his favourite books 'Ego Is The Enemy' and discusses the power of devastation for re-building self belief.
A knew addition to the podcast, where Kieran reads something he has wrote. Or something has read that he believes is worth sharing.
Episode #1 Kieran goes deep and explores the lessons he learned in the aftermath of a break-up.
Enjoy!
This week on The Earful Podcast we will be joined by Gerald Neil.
Gerald’s story is one of a very traumatic childhood and many past hardships. Gerald has had both personal and professional experience with the care and criminal justice system.
For most of his life Gerald felt traumatised, aggressive, hopeless and lost until he slowly began to defy the odds and become a man who lived by truth, integrity and self responsibility.

In this solocast I talk about how I was struggling back in May of this year. I was verging on suicide, lost, confused, in a lot of pain and deeply sad. I read a little extract I wrote- and take time to reflect back on it all.
This conjured up many emotions. And to say, I can reflect on this moment via a podcast, having extracted lessons and found compassion for myself along the way- has me deeply grateful.
I want you all to know that I do this because this my calling. It is my duty and responsibilty to rid my life and yours of any unnessacary suffering where possible.
