Hint: she was the first designer to put a major trend from the last few years on the runway! Welcome to this week’s episode of Verve where we spoke with Kelsey Reese. In May 2020 Kelsey Reese's boredom-induced closet clean out quickly became much more. She started posting her thrift flips to TikTok, which has amassed @reese.cycled over 260,000 followers. Now, Kelsey sells her thrift flips and curated vintage finds online while promoting a more sustainable way to shop secondhand.

We discuss her philosophy on creative outlets and how it intersects with owning a business, the lonely reality of full time content creation, and sewing for fun vs profit.
