FX Orders 'Very Young Frankenstein' Pilot from Taika Waititi & Zach Galifianakis

FX Networks has officially handed out a pilot order for Very Young Frankenstein, a brand-new comedy series spearheaded by Taika Waititi and Zach Galifianakis. Serving as a spiritual prequel/spin-off to Mel Brooks' legendary 1974 comedy classic Young Frankenstein, the show will explore the earlier, highly absurd days of the infamous Frankenstein family. With Waititi's signature eccentric humor behind the camera and Galifianakis attached to star, the project promises a hilarious, modern update to the classic monster-movie spoof genre.
