Dennis is a retired Naval officer who found himself in a world of trouble when is vessel the, USS Taylor, ran aground. He describes how the event changed his life and took him to some dark spots in his life. Dennis found a way to recover from the event and focused on sharing his story with others who may benefit from his story of overcoming adversity. He has dedicated his life to helping others from the uniform in the transition process and is the author of "Transition on Purpose". Dennis and I speak about his passion for coaching and leadership. We discuss the philosophical underpinnings of his process to help mentor others and how he draws from his experiences, both the good and the bad, to help others.
