The first Viaduct episode of 2022, is mainly concerned with the discussion of different novels in the general categories of literary genres of Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy. The first of the podcasts to be released in March 2022 will concern the flag bearer of the different books to be discussed, that of HG Wells War of the Worlds.
Andrew Biswell is the Professor of Modern Literature at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). He won the Portico Prize for his biography, The Real Life of Anthony Burgess, and is Director of the Anthony Burgess Centre in Manchester. He was also Director of MMU's well-respected MA in Creative Writing in the School of Writing.
