Vice Press Open Channel

This week Matt and Florey are left on their own! In lieu of any real content, we dive into questions from the listeners, which is always fun. This week the new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine launched, and it looks to be pretty awesome. This has to be a hit for the MCU, right?

Are we in the golden age of t.v? Join Matt Ferguson, James Henshaw from Vice Press, alongside host Florey to chit-chat about the best new shows from the past few weeks. Including Fallout, X-Men 97 and Shogun. How does the new streaming model of dumping a show online in it’s entirety effect it’s performance & does it increase the chances of seeing spoilers much earlier than you would like. These are the hot topics on this week’s show!

This week the question floodgates opened and we got a whole heap from you, the listener! Or viewer. Whatever. Matt, James and Florey answer some of your burning questions, such as, which Star Trek character would we be and why, can you help me fill ideas for a book and why do you attempt to do this for a career? Ok, we might have added our own spin to those. Listen to find out which question was best and who wins the Mystery Tube! There’s also news on The Film Vault Wave 2.5 - Steelbooks! Find out how to pick those up, too.

This week Lyndon Willoughby kicked off his Star Trek series of posters with Vice Press, so it made sense for us to catch up and rewatch on some classic Star Trek: The Original Series episodes, starting with The City on the Edge of Forever.

Coincidentally, this week the episode celebrated 60 years since it was first broadcast, a fact we didn’t find out until after we recorded, but once again shows our continued cutting edge relevancy to do modern day pop-culture!

There’s also an update on our very own convention, Vice Press Open House 2024, which will be held in on Saturday the 8th of June 2024 at The Steamworks in Sheffield.

We also answer some questions from you guys, the listeners such as what are we looking to forward to watching this year? Spoiler - Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Deadpool & Wolverine topped the list!

We need more questions, so leave a comment in the section below and next episode we will give a FREE MYSTERY TUBE to the best question.

It is time to don your proton packs and whip out your neutrona wands as Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is finally here! What does Vice Press' resident Ghostbuster James think of it? Does it live up to the hype? Is it worthy of 10 stars? Or will Roadhouse get our movie of the week? Join Matt Ferguson, Florey and James to find out.
