This blank verse above is my teaser for my short story Amor Vincit Omnia which deals with the subject of true love and our need to embrace it no matter how unlikely the source. This is one of my earliest sonnets written when I was an undergraduate at Queens College around 1978. It is still one of my favorites from my Of Pain and Ecstasy collection.
