Topic: Restoring Your Mind To Righteousness And Your Life To Abundance. Abundance Of Peace, Power, Joy And Victory Over Doubts, Fear And Anxiety.

Would you like to have no regrets in life ahead? Would you like to experience peace over anxiety, joy over sorrow, be victorious over defeated life, have abundance over lack and scarcity? Yes, we need not have any regrets in future when we fall in love with Christ and long to be in the presence of the Lord like these psalmists.

Let us hear what the psalmist said in Psalm 84: 10 to 12.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

What a promise to all those who walk uprightly!

The psamist or rather the author's longingness to be in the House of God is indeed worth noting. He prefers to be just a doorkeeper in the house of God than to be in Fellowship of wicked people. He shuns evil and evil workers unlike the present generations who prefer to spend time with everyone except with upright and godly.

Let us see the experience of another psalmist, David the shepherd and king in Psalm 27 verses 1, 4 & 5.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock

King David affirms that Lord God Almighty is the light, Salvation and Strength of his life..

One and only thing even this psalmist desires to seek of the Lord is, that he too longs to be in the house of the Lord all the days of His life to behold the beauty and majestic splendour of the Lord. It simply means that we need to practise and enjoy the presence of the Lord wherever we are and whatever we do and not literally be in the house of God 24x7.

Obviously then, our mind will be renewed day by day to His righteousness instead of filling it with thrash which leads to loneliness, , doubt, fear, anxiety and lack in life. Otherwise, His plans to honor and prosper us to abundance will be missing.

Help us Lord to have the blessed desires of these psalmists - to be longing to be in His presence so that our mind is restored to righteousness and our life to abundant life... Amen!

Topic: No Goliath Can Dare To Stand Against God's Children Who Are Faithful To Him..

1 Sam. 17:26 :

And David said to the men stood by him saying, "... Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who defies the armies of the living God?

God never puts any story in the Bible without a reason. And He never specifies that certain narratives are only for children or for so and so...

When God inspired the writer of 1 & 2nd Samuel, He very well knew we would all face various types of Goliaths in our lives. Sometimes these Goliaths could be people, or could be any threatening endangering situation in our lives. These Goliath type adversaries, circumstances, or a disability, or sickness, or can be an adversary type Goliaths within your own family, or work area or within a church. Here in this case 1 Sam. 17: 32, it's been Goliath who has tormented king of Israel, Saul, and his vast powerful army for 40 days and 40 nights.

When there was no hope, David, the then shepherd boy comes to the scene.

And David said to king Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of this Goliath; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

Most of the times we are more scared of the circumstances and adversaries.

As I said, it can be in our job, our sickness or within a family, like Absalom son of David who aspired for his own father's kingly throne, and waged a war against his own ordained father. Foolishly Absalom did not know if he is waging a war against his father, David who has been ordained by the Almighty God himself, means he is waging a war against the Almighty God. We know Absalom was defeated and became a victim of his own pride.

These adversaries can be of different sizes and forms, and look too big to defeat them.

No matter how big your adversary, you can win over, I can win over, and we all can win over. Because, we are God's chosen children, and no weapon and no principalities nor powers can neither prosper nor stand before us.

Let us declare the promises of God saying, "If God is with us who can be against us?" If God is with us, no Goliath can be against us.

There are no unimportant people in the sight of God.

Word of God says in Psalm 139:14:

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

Let's remind ourselves . Even a small star shines in the darkness from millions of miles away. The first and the the worst of all frauds is to limit oneself. Use what talents you possess and keep singing and praising. Well, if we are not grateful in singing, the Lord takes the birds singing as praise.

So, let's from henceforth understand we are wonderfully and uniquely made by our Almighty Sovereign God. If we are deliberately planning self defeat to be less than what we are capable of doing, we will be frustrated for the rest of our lives. Every person in this universe knows something you don't know. As I said, no one is unimportant. But unfortunately there are thousands who have hidden talents which others do not have, but they don't take the initiative. They feel inferior. Rise up! When God almighty has created you, you must never be inferior.

What is greatness? What is achievement? Doing what God wants you to do and being where He wants you to be.

As God's own children, we can be one of His few successes and not be one of His thousands of disappointments, if we pursue.

Topic: Peace! The Need Of The Hour In This Troubled And Wearied World Is Peace.

orld Is In Pursuit /Search For Peace In This Peaceless And Violent World.

Everyone, including people who have money, riches and wealth, fame and stature too struggle to find rest and peace in this wearied world.

And everyone strive for one thing more than any other—PEACE.

The reason they seek it is, because there’s no lasting comfort or freedom in their lives inspite of having everything in life. Why we see now and then several film actors who go into depression and attempt suicide, though they have wealth, fame and status? Because they cannot find meaning and purpose, and peace in this disturbed world.

It’s like they are always unsettled and restless. The Bible defines peace primarily in three ways.

Psychological peace - the comfort within.

Relational peace - harmony among humanity.

Spiritual peace - which is between God and man.

The Bible outlines how sin damages or wipes out all three types of peace.

When God created man, he was at peace with God, himself, and everyone else.

However, that peace was lost when he turned against God. Peace can be restored, but we cannot do it alone. God provided a way. Some people say when they drink little or more wine they will have little peace. They think so, but on the contrary it makes them still lonelier and miserable, and further, their health is destroyed.

Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, was sent to this world to take away our sins. He did so by allowing Himself to be crucified, and it was that sacrifice that made it possible for us to have peace again—peace within ourselves, peace with each other and peace with God.

After Jesus died on the cross, He came back to life. That demonstrated Jesus is God, but also made it clear He desires for everyone to have perfect peace.

Jesus empowers each of us to overcome every type of sin. No matter how difficult our situation is, Christ can break through it. But we must first acknowledge our sin and commit to Jesus, then we can have perfect peace and know its meaning.

In John 16:33, Jesus said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me” To have peace, we must know the One who can give it.

Topic: Stress!! How To Handle Stress? Stressful Events Are Facts Of Life. We May Not Be Able To Change

Our Current Situation,

But We Need To Analyse And Identify What Causes Us Stress.

Without salt there cannot be any cooking. If the salt is more, then whatever is cooked, is of no use but to be thrown away. Even stress is like that. If it is to a certain limit, it's ok. But it's more or high, then it leads to several problems in health like Hyper tension, blood pressure, diabetic, ulcers, skin diseases, asthma, obesity, frequently having headache, sleeplessness, depression and anxiety, falling health, heart diseases.

Adrenaline increases our heart rate, elevates blood pressure, muscle tension and pain.

Those who were neglected or abused as children tend to be particularly vulnerable to stress. Rebellious children, disobedient and disrespectful to parents, brings enormous stress and stress related ailments to parents.

For some, stress due to love failure. Constant friction between husband and wife and abuse. Business Loss, financial loss, unpaid bills raising, failure in exams, unemployment for long time, list goes on...

It is learned over 70 percent of Americans that regularly experience physical or psychological symptoms caused by stress, as explained by the American Institute of Stress. The top physical symptom reported was fatigue, and the top psychological symptom was irritability or anger.

Is there any remedy?

Daily excercise, proper healthy diet, fun, laughter, happiness are few which can mitigate stress.

Apart from that, It's much easier for Christians to overcome stress by developing a relationship with the Lord Almighty.

Because we have the lord God who not only died, but He is the only one who is Immortal and Invisible God who has conquered death by His resurrection.

When we build strong relationship and trust in Him, we can enjoy life on this earth. We shall overcome in Christ all situations in life.

Let us trust believe and claim this promise from

Prov. 3 : 5-6.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path.

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not

There are some people who give up and lose all their courage and faith the moment any trouble comes. They cannot endure trial. Sorrow and grief utterly crushes them. They think they cannot go on again. There had been lives broken down by affliction which have never risen again out of the dust. There have been mothers and fathers who have been faithful before any sort of storm that buffet them. And gave never cared for life again, letting their home grow dreary and desolate. And Their children go uncared for, as they sit in the abandonment of their uncomforted grief.

There had been men with bright hopes who have suffered one defeat or loss and have never risen again out of the dust..

But the Word of God tells us that we should never faint under any trial. God chastens us not to crush us but to strengthen us and to be partakers of His suffering and o His holiness. To faint therefore under chastening is disloyalty to God. We ought to accept the affliction with reverence and turn the whole energy of life into the channels of obedience and service even under trials and adversities of life without giving up..

Topic : Our Thoughts Will Determine Our Future! If You Think You Can Do It And Be Successful, You Will Be Successful. If You Think You Can't, You Will Be Defeated And Be A Failure....

Let us see what one of the most wisest man in the Bible king Solomon says in Prov. 23 7 "As a man thinketh so is he." If you think you can, you will. If you think you can't, you won't. If you think you will fail and be defeated, you will be defeated. If you think you will win, you will be victorious. Why? *Because your thought life and my thought life determines the quality of our lives.* Our thought lives determine the power of our lives.

Philip 2 5. Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus. We need to have the mind of Christ to excel n be positive..

Apostle Paul writes to Romans 22 2..Be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. How you and I can renew our mind? Pause. We renew our mind by washing ourselves in the Word of God.. Ephesians 5 26 says, Jesus might sanctify and cleanse the church with the washing of water by the word of God..

We see clearly in the story of Goliath and Israelites army and their king, Saul. Their thought life was filled with fear and defeat. And they were defeated, abused and threatened whenever they heard this uncircumcised heathen, Goliath who tormented these once anointed God's children for 40 days and 40 nights.

Which is that Goliath that is stealing your joy? Which is that Goliath that is stopping you from enjoying your life in victory, peace and happiness?

Same situation, same battle ground, same ground reality, an ordinary shepherd boy, an unknown boy comes to the scene. His thought life was different Amen! Unknown to to king and the Israelites' army.. Without any battle field experience this shepherd boy thought in his mind like this and declared loudly, "I will win this battle. I will cut off his head today." He thought like that, acted like that and executed like that cut off Goliath's head.

Isia 26 : 6 :

I will keep Him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Not those who watch telivision continuously or social media or chit chat whole day with rubbish. Instead of getting healthy and happy dreams, you will get dreadful dreams, witchcraft and demonic attacks..

But whose mind is stayed on the principles of righteousness, they get peaceful dreams and God's visions and sound rest.

*"It's not at all happiness that makes you happy, but the gratefulness that makes you happy."*

Which one of these two people are we?

Your success or your failure is your direct reflection of your thought life. Your attitude determines your life. Your succes or failure depends on your attitude and no one else can help you. You decide your destiny n not someone else..

Your attitude is reflected in your speech. From the abundance of your heart speaketh the mouth. Luke 6 45.

You are a child of God. You have access to God and His supernatural power in the authority of Jesus name. Your attitude celebrates the victory in advance or starve in self pity.

Do not let your past control your future. Do not allow other people to define your future. Don't let other people to drag into your past and destroy your present. You are a child of the living God. Thus is the day the Lord has made. And let us rejoice and be glad in it. *"You cannot be a joyful person without reading the joyful Bible."*

Rejoice n be exceedingly glad. Rejoice that you are able to listen God's divine Word now.

Rejoice that your name is written in the book of life. Rejoice that angels are going before you and behind you..

Topic: Taming The Temper And Keeping It Under Control.

Prov 21:23:

Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.

One of the most difficult thing for us as Christians is to tame the tongue and keep it under constant check. We fail often times and mar our image. There has been a muslim who helped us in cooking daily for several years. Though he is not a Christian he had the gift of having tremendous patience and self control. Though he was provoked, he never lost his cool. He never slipped his mouth to speak harshly or to argue, to justify, and he never lost his temper. He was as cool as a cucumber. 🙂.

It's been an eye and ear opener to for us to learn from him. His deeds were purely of Christian nature though he was not a Christian.

We see often in this world be it at home, college, work place or church, our temper brings many conflicts and many loses such as losing a friend or loved one's, losing a job or promotion including losing peace and joy.

Have you seen any one who is calm and cool inspite of adverse situation or provocation with grievous words? Yes, but they are very few in this world like the person who helped us in household chores.

Temper itself is not just an evil power, but a demonical possession in any one. Temper may make irreparable mischief if allowed to run untamed. But when brought under the sway of sanctification, it will become an element of great power.

A strong temper held in perfect leash gives majesty and joy to the life. There is no temper which cannot be brought under control through God's and constant meditation of the Word of God. The best book I suggest is to meditate the book of proverbs.

Let none of us despair, therefore if we have a strong temper which ofttimes leads us to sinful outbursts. We can tame our temper until the most impatient of us remain calm and quiet under the sorest temptation. But we must be on guard because a conquered lion is a lion still if the old spirit is aroused. We need to it under constant check.

Topic : Grief! It Does Not Come And Go In An Orderly, Confined Timeframe.

Nothing is waste in the life of a christian. Even grief and sorrow turns into joy and victory, if we don't give up.

During the time of grief we must never quit nor faint - but cling, claim and declare the words of assurance from the divine Word of God!

Ps. 27; 4 & 5.

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Grieving can be the most difficult time for people. Trying to balance the feelings of pain and loss is important.

But, our grief has a purpose. Grieving is the process God uses to bring us to a place of wholeness.

Nothing in life can prepare us for the death of a loved one. Whether death results from a sudden accident or a sustained illness, it always catches us off-guard. Death is so deeply personal and stunningly final, nothing can emotionally prepare us for its arrival. With every death, there is a loss. And with every loss, there will be grief.

Grief doesn’t come and go in an orderly, confined timeframe. Just when we think the pangs of anguish have stolen their last breath, another wave sweeps in and we are forced to revisit the memories, the pain, the fear. Sometimes we try to resist the demands of grieving.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.

Psalm 9:9-10. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Ps. 34:4

I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

Ps. 73: 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Topic: Christ-Likeness At Home Is Most Important! Being A Witness At Jerusalem First....

Let us keep the lamp of love shining day after day at home first amid the multitude of home cares and home duties, amid the criticisms of thoughtlessness, amid the thousand little irritations and provocations of home life which so tend to break peace and mar sweet temper. Let home love be the kind that never faileth.

Wherever else far away or near you pour the bright beams of Christian life, be sure you brighten the space close about you in your own home. Word of God says in Acts 1:8 to be a witness at Jerusalem - your home, then other places.

But we see many make every efforts to look good in the church and other social places, but at home they never make efforts to be that light and love unfortunately.

There has been a good looking and beautiful mother and a wife, Evangeline who is talented and gifted in doing several activities in a charismatic church. And she has a good name in the church.

One day suddenly she was diagnosed with liver cancer. And it's been worsening. She went to her pastor personally to put forth her prayer petition. Pastor promised to uphold her in his personal prayers. As he was praying for healing the Lord spoke to him clearly.

The next Sunday after the service she called Evangeline and asked her, "how is her relationship with your husband. Do you forgive him and love him?"

Evangeline was shocked to hear these questions which pierced into her heart like a bullet. She was startled. Her face and appearance showed it all. She confessed that she always argued, questioned and often fought with her husband.

Pastor in the most kindest way told her to ask for forgiveness and start loving him. And she would be healed. She confessed bitterly, cried and promised pastor she would do that immediately.

Even as she confessed with her husband and started loving him, within ten days she was touched by the risen power of Christ and healed her completely.

Being a witness first at Jerusalem is most important than what we do outside.

Help us to bring Christlikeness and be a witness with the children and spouse and bring in peace, joy happiness and bring heaven to home. In Jesus ....
