Topic: Do We Need Christ Only In dark hours And Forsake Him in Sunshine?

If we are close to the Lord even in our good times and sunshine, He well be available to us in times of grief and sorrow.

Why do most people only think of Jesus when they are in trouble or sick?

We are in danger of using our Lord almighty help only in our dark hours in our dark period of life - when we are in some trouble or adversity of life. But we ought to understand that we need Christ as much in our bright prosperous exalted hours as in the days of darkness, adversity and depression.Our faith and love towards Christ must be just as much of for hours of joy as for our days of grief.

There are as many stars in the sky as at midnight although we cannot see them in the sun's glare in the noon time. And so also there are just as many comforts and promises and divine encouragement and blessings above us when we are in noons of human gladness and earthly success as we are in pain and sorrow.

Many times we make the mistake of thinking that Christ’s help is needed only for sick rooms or in times of overwhelming sorrow and suffering. This is not true. Certainly, for those who belong to the Lord and follow Him, He is with us in times of distress, and that is a comforting truth, but He wants to be part of every experience and every moment of our lives, because the human race will always be in need of a Savior.

Jesus not only met the needs of the sick, and the downtrodden and the weary; He went to the wedding of Cana—a time of joy; a time to celebrate marriage. He went to the temple to hear Scripture read and honoured. He gathered little children around Him. He went fishing. He visited close friends in Bethany. He prepared breakfast for His disciples—and even in these times, He saw the needs of those He encountered. He spoke of love. He spoke of healing. He offered Himself and shed His blood for sin.

We will never fully comprehend our need of Christ while we live in this world. When we get to Heaven, we will be amazed at how God took care of us and blessed us in the storms of life and in the good times of life too. We should thank Him and commit ourselves to trusting Him in every facet of life because only He fully knows the purpose for trials, tears and triumph. “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11).....

Topic: Seeing Only The Faults And Not Good!

Daniel 6:3-5:

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

There are some people who walk through God's fair world, and in the midst of men and women, whose lives shine with bright qualities and dazling gems of character, and yet the works does not have the eyes for any of these radiant and glorious beauties like the life of Daniel. But for every fault of blemish they have the sharpest vision. They judge uncharitably. They think evil where there is none. This is one of the things Christ condemns in our lives. We ought to train ourselves away from a habit of life so unchristian. We should seek to have eyes only for the beauty, not for the blemishes.

Our human nature never allows someone to outgrow us. It never likes someone coming up in life. Unfortunately it's more prevalent in those who profess to be the true children of God. And thus lives will never be fruitful nor a blessing to anyone.

Why most of the apostles and even Jesus Christ was martyred? Simple reason - the Pharisees, Saducess and other religious leaders could not stand the popularity they were getting because of their manifestation of the love of Christ and the authority with which they spake and healed many from sickness, oppression and depression.

If we see the life of Daniel. He lived a blemishless life. And all the top leaders, Satraps and Presidents spent much of the time to kill him. The reason? Simple. They were filled with envy and jealousy because Daniel was gaining more and prominience with the king and his favor. Finally, they themselves were killed and destroyed by the same lions.

We ought to be watchful not to get into this habit of criticising, gossiping about others and waste our time in plotting to put down others, lest we too will be destroyed without joy, peace and barren dry life like these religious leaders.

Help us Lord not to look with evil eyes and thoughts to harm others and criticise and gossip about others. And to understand it harms our own lives and the reputation. In Jesus....

Hinderances can be from sins of gossip, pride, hatred, anger and arrogance because of having power and wealth, fear of other habitual and secret sins. Relationship conflicts, and many struggle in this area thereby not allowing them to worship the Lord freely. Cold and luke warm relationship with God.

Such sins are the main hindrances that will never allow us to worship the Lord.

What are the barriers that you feel are hindering you personally to worship and praise Him and reap the blessings of worship? You and I can make a small check list.

Then, how can we overcome these barriers?

By being obedient to the Word of God..

1 Sam. 15 : 22 says, "To obey is better than sacrifice." Obedience is the best form of worship.

This true worship in an individual's life can happen only when he or she truly knows and experiences personally who the Lord God Almighty is, and truly understands what He has done for us. And experience personally His love, His power of Omnipotence and Omniscience.

Completely yielded life to Christ enables us to truly worship Him. A life that has a clean and pure heart. Anyone who sacrifices self centeredness enjoys worshipping the Lord.

Jesus Ought To Be Our Super Model To Follow. Many Follow After A Man And Later Regret And Get Disappointed.

They try to get your attention on them and when they fail, your faith too fails and falls.

Psalm 18:30:

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Joshua could not take down the walls of Jericho alone; he needed the children of Israel to help him carry out God’s unique battle plan. As their leader, Joshua did something extraordinary.

Instead of positioning himself at the forefront of the parade, he made the Ark of the Covenant the central focus of every Israelite. The Ark represented God’s presence among His people; it contained His promises to them. Surrounded by the priests, warriors, and people, the Ark was at the center of their laps around Jericho.

They kept the Word of God and His presence in sight. As you march, remember to keep Jesus at the very center of your endeavours as though your life depends on Him. If you follow a mere man, you will receive only the best that he can give. But, if you follow a limitless God, He will give you more than you can imagine or comprehend.

Let us open the Word of God to meet Him in the pages of scriptures.

Let us find direction and hope to conquer darkness and provide courage for another lap. It always accomplishes what it is sent out to do.

When we are walking around the most difficult issue in our lives, keeping His presence and His promises at the center will lead us to victory.

As we keep Jesus at the center, may His presence surround us.

May His Word strengthen and encourage us. In Him, victory is sure for us....

We live in a complicated, fast-paced world that threatens to overwhelm and rob us of the simple joys in life.

Let us remember not to ignore the Good News when dealing with today’s adverse news. Let us not allow God’s promises to be overshadowed by the Jericho that we face, mean the walls of Jericho... Let us remember to rejoice in this simple truth..

Our hearts need not be troubled because He has a divine purpose for you and me inspite of ups and downs in life. He has not forgotten us, and He will never abandon us. He loves us deeply and unconditionally. He has a plan for us. Even when life is difficult, be it family issue, relationship or sickness or a daunting mountain to climb, let us be assured that our good and compassionate God still sits on His throne. He is faithful to fulfill all of His promises to us. He will provide everything that we need according to His riches in glory.

The situation might look complicated in front of us, but God is not confused. He knows the path that you and I take. He has gone before us to prepare the way. He has moved the mountains of impossibility. If we need wisdom, let us ask Him. If we need strength, let us lean on Him. If we need joy, Him be the glory and the lifter of our head.

Whatever we face today, we must not forget the good news as we deal with today’s adverse bad news. God is on our side.

You have proclaimed peace and salvation to us Lord. Help us to rejoice in the God of our salvation looking beyond our mountains and valleys. In Jesus ....

Topic: Worry! It Adds More Pain , Sorrow & Sickness.

Worrying about the hard work does not make the work easier, and it only makes you less strong and courageous for doing it. Worrying about sone misfortune, failure or disappointment which you cannot do anything or cannot help it, and still worrying only renders its endurance even more harder.

Worrying over sickness further deteriorates the health but doesn't make it any better.

But the divine all powerful Word of God assures us that even the hard things, the obstacles, the hindrances, the failures become blessings if we meet them in faith without doubting. It will be stepping stones for more blessings in which we may grow ever into nobler, stronger, victorious, joyful, glorious and successful life.

Prov. 3: 5 & 6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him. And He shall direct thy path.

Therefore trusting in the Lord will replace our doubts with faith, fear with His risen power, and replaces loneliness with His presence and His omnipotent risen power.

Heavenly Father, even in our sickness, even in our adverse situations, amidst obstacles, setbacks and failures in life, help us not to give up, help us not to throw in the towel, but rise above all these and keep pursuing without giving up, holding on to thy risen power and Omnipotence. In Jesus amazing name we pray. Amen!

Our future is much better than yesterday, because He transforms us from glory to glory.

2 Corint 3 18:

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

As believers in Jesus Christ, we can count on our tomorrows being better than our yesterdays. The Spirit of God works in us, with ever-increasing splendor, so that we become more and more like Him.

Too many children of God believe that their best is behind them. They look back at the mountain top experiences, the miracles that God did, or the way He moved back then, and they are not convinced that He still does the impossible.

God has more for us for tomorrow than He has today. The triumphs of yesterday are wonderful reminders of what the Lord did in a past season, but they should not be where we hang our hopes and expectations. We should carry those memories into the future, believing that He can do it all again.

God healed the blind eyes, the deaf ears, and the lame legs in the past, and He still heals today. God provided for the destitute widow, and He still meets our needs today. God saved the jailer and his whole family, and we as His children are not beyond His reach.

His performance in the past builds our expectations for the future. He takes us from glory to glory! And from one evel of holiness to another; from one victory to another.

He loves the poor and down trodden equally unlike human nature.

Human love is often based on feelings that can change over a period of time and depending on the situation.

Agape love is the purest form of the love of the Almighty God. It transcends all human egocentric passions. It goes beyond sentiments and emotions. God's agape love is selfless, sacrificial and forgiving in nature. It involves patience, longsuffering and forgiveness.

The divine pure sacrificial agape love of Christ has transformed millions of people across the globe the moment they tasted and experienced His love personally and were assured of salvation which leads to final destination of eternal life.

The only source which gives us freedom from depression, oppression to restoration of peace, meaning and purpose in life is Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord whenever we come to you in faith n sincerity, you will never forsake us nor leave us inspite of shortcomings, limitations and unfaithfulness. And you are ever available to receive us, forgive us and love us just the way we are. We are never to be rebellious or slow to submit to God, but we must be sure that we have done all we can before we fold our hands and say, "Thy Will be done." There come many experiences, however, in which we can do nothing, and can only submit. We must not only ourselves strive faithfully in all things to do the will of God , but must suffer it to be done in us, even when it lays us low in the dust, even when it strips us bare and shatters all our happiness.

This will is to be accepted, too, not rebelliously, with murmuring and complaint, but songfully, joyfully and lovingly.
