Topic : Failures! Failure Can Become A Weight Or It Can Give You Wings. Depends... If We Don't Give Up, We Will Be Winners.

Psalm 37:23-24:

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

One of the riskiest thing you can do in Life is to take too many precautions and never have failures but remain in mediocrity.

You are like a tea bag - not worth much till you've been through some hot water. So is life.

Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in great twilight that knows not victory or defeat.

Simon Peter had so many failures. But that did not stop him to pursue. Failures made him even more strong and he was ultimately one of the great instrument to build the Kingdom of God.

The world who laughed at Peter's failures have to look to him in amazement. One who was fearful of a little girl, later on spoke with authority and power before rulers and kings.

David fell to the temptation to beautiful Bathshebha and committed adultery and muder too. But, unlike king Saul, David rose up, confessed and truly repented of his sins and failures and became a mighty force rest of his life as a victorious king. There was absolute peace during his reign.

But unfortunately many Christians are unable to wriggle out or come out of their sins and thereby unable to live a victorious, successful and joyful life.

Even in professional life, without being afraid of failures and what others think, if we keep on attempting and pursuing, one day the same world which looked down on you will wait to shake hand with you.

Topic : We Are Fearfully And Wonderfully Made.

We All Are Unique, Special, Rare And Highly Gifted. Let's Not Try To Live Upto Anyone's Expectations, But God's.

Anything that you do which God doesn't want you to do becomes ultimately a mediocrity and vanity of life irrespective of what you have in life.

Dont just look for miracles. You yourself is a miracle. You are unique.

Ps 139:14 says, You are "fearfully and wonderfully made."

Dont be awestruck by other people and try to copy them. One of the hardest thing of climbing the success of ladder is not looking around what people are thinking about you. Decision making is one of the important thing in our lives. Most of the young people have much talent and knowledge too but not bold enough to take bold decisions in life for fear of what others think and their comments.

So, too many people make cemeteries of their lives by burying their talents. We must not have to live upto anyone's expectations.

The more we are like Jesus, the more we become who we are supposed to be.

You are a unique leader. Leaders are like eagles. They don't flock together, you find them always one at a time. They have a clear focus and very confident unlike crow, bird or a parrot. They all flock together and often fly together to only certain height. They have limitations unlike eagle.

Let us become unique like eagles depending and waiting upon the source of all wisdom for strength, wisdom and guidance.

Topic : Silent Work Is More Blessed Than Noiseful Words! "Defend yourself with smile; attack with silence."

Prov 17: 28.

Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;

When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.

One reason many hardly bear to remain silent is that it makes them feel so helpless. They are so accustomed to relying upon words to manage and control others. If we are silent, who will take control? God will take control.

Few quotes on the importance of Silence:

"Silence and smile are two powerful tools. Smile is the way to solve many problems and silence is the way to avoid many problems.

"Hustle in silence and let your silence make the noise." Anonymous.

"How beautiful it is to be silent when someone expects you to be enraged." - Anonymous

All the greatest work of this world goes on noiselessly. Only little workers clatter. God both in nature and in grace, works silently.

The angels go about noiselessly on their blessed ministries. So the best work any of us do is what we do without noise.

Our words give forth sound, but it is not the sounds that do good, that brighten people's sad faces, that change tears to laughter, that stimulate hope, that put courage into fainting hearts. Its not the noise of our words, but silent words of comfort and peace we carry.

The best part of any good man's life is his influence - that strange touch something which goes out evermore from his or her character like fragnance from a flower, the light from a star; and influence works always in silence, without words.

Statistics say around 85 to 90% In The World give up their Pursuit In The Middle...

The end of a thing is better than it's beginning. - Eccl. 7 : 8.

Be it studies, competitive exams, pursuing good job, preparing for interviews, marriage, or in spiritual walk with Christ, discipline, determination and perseverance is the key to end well and be successful.

There are approximately 100 biographies in the Bible, and of those, only 30-35% of the people finished well. Why does it happen? To answer that question, we need to understand what it means to not finish well. There can be so many characteristics in our lives which do not allow us to end strongly but either give up - losing.

Out of them here are few characteristics explained as why people don't finish well. It can be many of these or a combination of these traits describes that they are not going to finish off well....

Remember Enoch, Caleb, Ruth, Hannah at the end of their Lives? They finished well!

Out of so many, here are fifteen characteristics listed which do not allow us to Finish Well:

1.

Lost your first love for God.

2.

So, You have lost your spiritual passion for the things of God.

3.

You are completely backslidden and away from God.

4.

You are resentful toward those who hurt or betrayed you.

5.

You are neither learning nor growing spiritually.

6.

You no longer share your faith with fellow Christians or of other faiths.

7.

You are cynical and critical about church pastors' and God's servants.

8.

You are – no longer growing

9.

You are isolated and become unaccountable in your walk with God.

10.

You have hidden sins and habits that grip your life as a slave.

It has been years since you led someone to faith in Christ. Irony is many never led anyone to Christ.

12.

Your passion and desire to pray for leaders, your fellow believers and others dipped low.

13.

Loss of stomach to fight spiritual battles

14.

No faith for the impossible to happen.

Faithfulness! God is still looking for faithful people. I will send Timothy to you. For there is no one else faithful like him. For everyone seek their own...

Philip. 2: 19-23. But I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state.

For I have no one like minded, who will sincerely care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ. But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father, he served with me in the gospel. Therefore, I hope to send him at once.

Paul is writing to all the saints, bishops and elders of the church at Philippines. Though Paul is unable to visit them immediately, he is writing to them in sending Timothy. Paul testifies so powerfully about Timothy's clean, transparent and righteous faithful life with so much joy and satisfaction.

Everyone of us need to be testified by others like Timothy and not we talking big about us. Others must testify us. That's the true blessing.

Our aim in everything that we do in this world has to be - to bring glory and honor to the Lord though every good work we do here may not be recognised.

God has given us several blessings, various talents and giftings. He watches with patience as how sincere and faithful we are, in using them.

Riches, wealth, power, position, stature can be enjoyed only here on earth but has no recognition in heaven above.

It is good to be successful, but more than being successful God is looking for faithfullness in us. For men and women of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.

A name to be earned for uprightness and faithfulness like Timothy before the eyes of the Lord is far better than thousand praises of people.

God gives us in this darkness of this world many glimpses of heaven's blessed life. The scriptures are full of windows Through Which The Light Pours.

And Every Disclosure Of Heavenly Existence that is made to use, shows us life without one trace of selfishness, earnestly devoted to the service of others. Angels' life is very pure, holy and blessed, and yet these celestial beings find their employment in serving others and sharing mostly the good news. It is their joy to minister and not to be ministered unto.

Event the coming of Son of Man and His mission was described in His own words, "The Son of Man came not to be ministered unto but to minister" In serving is therefore the most exalted, the divine thought of life.

Topic : Conquering Giants. Which Is The Giant - Which Goliath Has Been Tormenting You With Constant Fear, Defeat And Disilussionment In Life, Robing Your Very Health, Peace And Joy?

David who was sent by his father to give bread to their brothers came to the battle field. He heard Goliath cursing the Israelites.

Let us read 1 samuel 17 26th verse.

David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

God loved handsome Saul and appointed him as the first king of Israel. God gave several victories to Saul. Well, pride entered his life.

God commanded King Saul to destroy all the cattle and sheep of the enemy, after defeating the Amelakites.

King Saul disobeyed God's command in holding back secretly best of the sheep and cattle of Amalekites after wining the battle.

His disobedience cost him the throne. He also lost -The presence of God,

He lost the mighty power and anointing of God.

And he became fearful and scared of the enemy, Goliath. Not only he was fearful but he injected the sense of fear in the entire powerful Isrealite army.

Well when we move away from God, fear and unrest takes the seat. When we are far away from God, our problems and the giants in us look much bigger than our God.

If we are not faithful, God gives away or takes away the blessings and gives the honour to a person of of his own choice who is found faithful and trustworthy.

And here the Lord Almighty chose an ordinary shepherd boy, David who was trustworthy and was full of awesome power and presence of God. And he was brimming with confidence. And he dared to fight the same Goliath who sent shivers into the powerful army and king of Israel for 40 days and nights.

And David defied Goliath Words and self prophesied saying that he would kill Goliath and cut off his head and show to the nations that he and the nation of Israel serves a powerful living Almighty God.

Which is the Goliath that has been tormenting you and stealing your joy and peace for years? Cheer up dear beloved in the Lord.

Yield yourself to God completely in obedience and trample all your fears and defeats under your feat in the mighty name of Jesus.

There is no power can conquer us while God is on our side.

"There is no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper." -

The Almighty God has promised us to be with us and bless us when we call unto Him.

The Word of God

says in Jerm. 33 : 3, "Call unto me, and I will shew thee great and mighty things which you have not seen."

When we are closer to Christ, no fear can torment us, as He becomes our shield, our fortress and our strength.

Topic: The Way We Respond To Our Darkest Times That Beset Us In Life Is The Gauge With Which We Measure The True Spiritual Strength Of A Child Of God."

What we need to do when we have "loss of faith" or "when our faith is dwindling" amidst severe valley experiences?

John the Baptist

started off very powerfully his Christian faith and walk with the Almighty God. It was he who witnessed of Christ, and it is he himself who baptized Christ. As Jesus was approaching he told his disciples saying, "The one who is is more righteous than me whose shoes I'm not worthy to unloose."

Such was his depth of humility. We see very rarely a person praising or esteeming another person higher than himself or herself, which John the Baptist did to Jesus. We can easily identify a true righteous person. He will be always humble and grounded, giving reverence to others. Esteeming others higher... So was John. He was at the zenith of spirituality and righteousness.

But, as we know John was cast into prison, in the castle Machaerus. It certainly was not a cheerful place to be in. We ought scarcely to be astonished at sudden loss of bright faith he exhibited when he was in good times.

Now he says in Mt. 11:2 & 3. Now when John heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said unto him, "Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

Good many people think it strange that the grand, great powerful witness of Christ, John could have really been in doubt and have questions. "It's not possible" they say, "that such great heroic man should ever waver in his confidence.

But that is always the way we think. We are amazed at every person's blindness or dullness, or unbelief, but our own, we don't. Our people's failures look very large to us, but we never see our own at all.

We can scarcely believe that John the Baptist grew despondent when his trials were so great, though most of us are often plunged into gloom by the merest trifles and issues of life.

Many of us as Christians get despairing over the loss of few pounds or kgs or a little pain, than John did in his really great trials as he was awaiting death at any moment.

"The way we respond to our toughest and darkest times or sweetest temptations that beset us in life is the gauge with which we measure the true spiritual strength of a child of God."

Blessed and beautiful people in life! Those who bless you; Those who desire you to be successful and seek good in your life are a rare gift and blessing to you!

“Beauty isn’t about having a pretty face it’s about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and a pretty soul.”

Matthew 5:8 “How blessed are those who are pure in heart, because it is they who will see God!”

Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns."

Have you ever come across few persons in your life whom, whenever you meet, you feel joyful, blessed and satisfied in life?? Yes! I did! I meet and keep meeting such people. I love to. And we all love to have such privileged companions.

It gives us immense joy to meet those people. They always care for others, encourage others, uplift the spirits. They bring sunshine into the lives of people. They bring light in the lives of people who are in the dark. They bring smile, laughter, springs of joy, peace, inspiration and motivation into the lives of people. We feel like meeting such people as often as possible. Is it not?

Well, U and I love to meet such people and we feel like meeting them and spending much time with them. Is it not? Why? Its truly amazing to have such dear one's. They are diomands and Gems in our lives, so precious.

Whenever we meet such people, it reignites some positive energy and makes life more meaningful.

These people are in my opinion most unselfish people in this world. They love to see our success. They love to see us prosper. They love to make us happy when we are down. These few people can be from amongst our families, relatives, friends' circle, or from office, or our 'well wishers'. They use the tongue to inspire, encourage, motivate and bless others.

Topic: Fear! Fear Grips Us When We Move Away From The Lord Almighty.

"Fear not, for those who are with us are more than who are with them." 2 Kings 6:17.

In detail from 13th verse to 17th verse.

Syrian king has come to know that all his plans are revealed by prophet Elijah to his enemy, the king of Israel.

The king of Syria

has found out that prophet Elisha was in the city of Dothan, Israel. So, he sent horses and chariots and a great army was surrounding the city of Dothan. (where Elisha stayed) And when the servant of the man of God saw the army surrounding the city with horses and chariots, he panicked saying, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?

The word, 'fear not' every human being loves to hear. More the technological and scientific advances, more lonelier and fearful human being has become.

The Lord God Almighty holds our hands and He is with us ever since we received Him into our hearts. But, often times, we stubbornly let lose of His hands forcibly and go our own direction. And when adversity or a calamity strikes, we are even more fearful or lonelier than ever before.

Fear grips us when when we move away from the Lord Almighty.

As we read, the king of Syria seized upon an opportunity to capture Elisha who was in the city of Dothan. He mobilized a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city one night. He wasn’t prepared to take any risk of the prophet escaping.

Early the next morning in Dothan, we know Elisha’s servant saw and panicked.

I can imagine how the servant of Elisha must have felt. There was absolutely no logic in what Elisha had said. There were just the two of them against a whole army of Syria! Had his master gone mad? May be he was thinking.

Before the servant could work himself into an even greater panic, Elisha prayed a simple prayer, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see” (2 Kings 6:17). And the Lord opened the eyes of the servant. Then he saw that the hillside all around them was filled with blindingly magnificent horses and chariots of fire. God’s army of angels was flanking them on every side, ablaze with the glory, beauty, and majesty of the Most High. As the servant marveled, he realized that the Syrian forces were utterly dwarfed by the angelic army.

Why had the young servant been fearful while Elisha was fearless? The answer is this: They saw different things. The young man saw the great Syrian army. But Elisha saw an even greater angelic army on chariots of fire. Elisha had spiritual insight.

Dear beloved, would you commit the above Scripture to heart? If you are in a constant fight with fear, meditate on this Scripture and fortify your heart with this promise. Whether you find yourself besieged by debts, attacked by what doctors call a terminal illness, or constantly anxious over the safety of your family, remember this powerful verse. The God of angelic armies is with us. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (see Isa. 54:17)!
