Topic: Stress!! How To Handle Stress? Stressful Events Are Facts Of Life. We May Not Be Able To Change
Our Current Situation,
But We Need To Analyse And Identify What Causes Us Stress.
Without salt there cannot be any cooking. If the salt is more, then whatever is cooked, is of no use but to be thrown away. Even stress is like that. If it is to a certain limit, it's ok. But it's more or high, then it leads to several problems in health like Hyper tension, blood pressure, diabetic, ulcers, skin diseases, asthma, obesity, frequently having headache, sleeplessness, depression and anxiety, falling health, heart diseases.
Adrenaline increases our heart rate, elevates blood pressure, muscle tension and pain.
Those who were neglected or abused as children tend to be particularly vulnerable to stress. Rebellious children, disobedient and disrespectful to parents, brings enormous stress and stress related ailments to parents.
For some, stress due to love failure. Constant friction between husband and wife and abuse. Business Loss, financial loss, unpaid bills raising, failure in exams, unemployment for long time, list goes on...
It is learned over 70 percent of Americans that regularly experience physical or psychological symptoms caused by stress, as explained by the American Institute of Stress. The top physical symptom reported was fatigue, and the top psychological symptom was irritability or anger.
Is there any remedy?
Daily excercise, proper healthy diet, fun, laughter, happiness are few which can mitigate stress.
Apart from that, It's much easier for Christians to overcome stress by developing a relationship with the Lord Almighty.
Because we have the lord God who not only died, but He is the only one who is Immortal and Invisible God who has conquered death by His resurrection.
When we build strong relationship and trust in Him, we can enjoy life on this earth. We shall overcome in Christ all situations in life.
Let us trust believe and claim this promise from
Prov. 3 : 5-6.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path.
