Good for "Good Friday" means, what I understand, pious Friday, holy Friday, sacred Friday, blessed Friday, redemptive Friday...

It commemorates Jesus Christ's Passion, crucifixion, and death, which is the significance. Good Friday commemorates Jesus' death on the cross and the last seven words spoken by Him hanging on the cross.

The first word on Forgiveness, 2nd Word on "Assurance."

3rd Word on "Responsibility."

4th Word "Abondenment" 5th Word, Fulfilment, 6th Accomplishment and 7th finally completeness..

First three words are directed towards the mankind, remaining last four words are directed to Heavenly Father accomplishing His divine plan.

The Father's love is even with us in our darkest hours, just as it was with Jesus in his darkest hour.

Few thoughts on the cross where Jesus died:

Most people who see the cross are not impressed with it. They can see it and walk away and forget it. Even for the Christians who see the cross, and they don't mind keeping it in the car, keeping it in the living room, and gold cross hanging around the neck. But to crucify and denying the self and carry the cross of suffering is too heavy for each day to carry.

But, those who know Jesus personally and love Him truly only, know the joy and the true value of cross. The Joy is very clearly evident in their countenance. Their acts..

And, those who are obsessive and possesive for power and possession like the Pharisees and Saducees who crucified Him on the cross, they cannot escape the judgement when Christ returns. We must be guarded..

Therefore, we too must introspect and draw much nearer to Christ than ever before.

May This Good Friday pass not just like another one. Let us listen to this song prayerfully, surender our lives and implore Jesus to keep us near the cross. Blessed and meaningful Good Friday to all of you. 🙋🙂🌹

Proverbs 23:7 says: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

What we think from our mind perculates into our heart and body. If we keep on worrying, it affects our heart and health.

I often quote this, "What we think is so important, because what we think is what we become...."

Even while we are sleeping, our minds are still engaged – thinking, processing, planning, and trying to resolve problems.

Our mental computers never shut down.

Scientists say that more than 10,000 thoughts go through the human mind each day ......

Because our brains are doing so much thinking, it is important to evaluate just what we are thinking.

What kinds of thoughts are running through our minds?

What kinds of thoughts are putting down roots?

What kinds of things are our minds really focused on?

Why is it so important that we evaluate our thoughts?

The answer is: because "We are what we think."

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Beware of what you set your mind on for that you will surely become.”

Here is a more well-known quote from Emerson: “Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.”

It all depends on what we feed with daily.

Where did the destiny begin? With a thought – in our minds.

The King James Version of Proverbs 23:7 says: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

The one who fed and enjoyed God's Word in the early morning has never failed.

Topic : Conquering Inferiority Complex By Self Confidence. S.C Can Be Gained By Knowledge, Hard Work And Having Faith In God.

1 Samuel 17: 26. Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who defies the armies of the living God??

Self confidence is the source of strength and the secret of success. Inferiority complex is the chief enemy of self confidence. This inferiority complex saps one's energy, creates serious doubts about one's strength and capacity and renders one diffident, over cautious, backward and inactive. Unless one overcomes inferiority complex, it will not be possible to acquire self confidence.

The best example in the Bible on the inferiority complex is the story of the mighty king Saul and his big army who suddenly became powerless, weak and surrounded by inferiority complex and short of self confidence and fear, because of disobedience to God. They kept staring at the situation doubting their abilities till David the ordinary shepherd boy with high in "self confidence" because of the Lord within him has conquered the mountain of Goliath with faith and action.

So, It is most certain and definitely possible to get over the inferiority complex, no matter how old or deep rooted it is. All you need to master it is a keen desire to do so and the faith and positive attitude to attempt without fearing and being inferior.

The second important requirement is knowledge.........

So dear beloved, knowledge is strength, Knowledge is power.

Once we master the knowledge on the subject, inferiority will vanish instantly.

We must face life situations, trials and setbacks with confidence.

When we analyse the nature, cause and growth of inferiority complex within us, we see that it revolves around fear of the criticism, disapproval and judgement of other people. This also crops up and inferiority develops in many cases by comparing our abilities, gifts, talents, status, position with others who are much better off than us.

To avoid this complex, with our own abilities we must strive to do our best without ever comparing ourselves at all with others.

Lastly, as children of living God, like the shepherd boy, David, we are the children of king of kings, and so we have the power within to be strong, bold, courageous and act with self confidence whatever we do.

Apostle Paus says, "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me." Our part is to act and be busy.

I'm ardent follower of football, hockey and cricket. There are few players who have excelled in their respective sports fields than others. And therefore, they are remembered for their great achievements. Their participation in their team adds value to that team and fear to the opponents.

Today's focus is on one of the most admired football player in the world for his magical football skills.He is none other than Diego Maradona of Argentina.

He almost single handedly won the world cup for Argentina in the year 1986. He was instrumental in winning the semi finals against England, 2-1 scoring both goals and in the finals against West Germany 3-2.

The 2nd goal Maradona scored in the semifinal against England, a solo effort picking the ball right from the mid field, dribbling past all the defenders one by one and netting into goal arena, is still considered to be one of the greatest goal ever scored. It's been sheer delight to watch it.

The shirt Mardona wore during that semifinals match in which he scored two goals is now owned by the opponent team, former England player Steve Hodge who swapped shirts with Maradona immediately after the match. Now this shirt wore by Maradona which is swapped is under auction - hammer 🔨.

The most expensive shirts of elite clubs of footbal teams,

cost from ranges from Approx. 60 usd to 100 usd.

The shirt of Maradona now expected to sell for a whopping 5.23 million dollars, which is approx. Rs 39.75 crores in Indian currency. For that one shirt----- Maradona wore during the semifinal match against England.......

However, he is not a good role model for youngsters as his "off field" conduct is marred with controversies and drug abuse too.

Similarly in our Christian walk, the early apostles, Paul, Simon Peter, Barnabas, Philip to name a few, they not only healed people from all ailments and diseases and raised even people from death too, but in addition, their lives have been a great testimony and blessing. They added greater value to the early church and to God's kingdom than these sports Personnel. Because these men of God were great role models and great ambassadors of Christ.......

Nothing comes easy in life. When we desire to be to achieve something in life. We can add value to our lives by our hard work, discipline, dedication and with an UPRIGHT Heart. Right Attitude is the key to add value wherever we are.

We come now to the greatest sermon spoken by the greatest teacher Who has ever lived, the Lord Jesus. Saint Augustine first named this discourse the "Sermon on the Mount." This sermon stretches over three chapters of Matthew's Gospel, but what we read is likely a reduction of the original address which Jesus gave from the mount to His disciples.

Mt. 5 : 1-12.

1. Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him.

2. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:

3. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

4. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."

6. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."

7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy."

8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

There Are Numerous Promises In The Bible On Faith, Hope, Peace, Restoration, Comfort, And List Is Endless.

Promise And Prayer go together. There are numerous promises in the Bible on restoration, strength, comfort, hope, Joy over depression, peace over dejection, hope over anxious and dreadful moments, for deliverence and healing. And over worry, stress and the list goes on. For everything we need there are promises in His divine Word. But, yet they are not fulfilled. And we feel void, empty and fearful with scary dreams. But, when God has promised anything to us, working hard on it we can go to him and ask Him to do based on the promises in the divine Word and in His divine will. But, then, why ask when He has promised?? Asking shows faith. Asking releases faith and confidence. Asking is the acceptance on our part of what God offers based on His promises.

Moreover Word of God is very clear in Mat. 07: 07 & 8 says " Ask and ye shall receive;

For everyone who asks receives. So, ask not, and he shall not receive. So, let us find a promise for what we want or any need or issue or adversity we face and ask boldly to our Heavenly Father.

Topic: There Are Sudden Storms Of Temptation And Trials Which Sweep Down With Sudden And Terrific Power From The Cold Mountain Of This world...

Matt. 08:23 to 26. And suddenly there arose a great tempest on the see so that the boat was covered with the waves.

The disciples had not put out to sea of their own suggestions. Jesus was in the boat and was sleeping. The lessons we learn here is storms arise even when we are in our plain routine line of duty and when Christ is with us. Jesus never said that we will not have storms, but He will be with us and lead us out to greener pastures when we don't give up.

So, we should not be discouraged by the difficulty or the trouble or the fiery storm that buffets us and conclude that we are in wrong path. Word of God says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous..

So, we see Christ's presence with his disciples does not keep the storms away. There are no promises in the Bible that God's chosen people shall not have storms.

There are sudden storms of temptation and trials which sweep down with sudden and terrific power from the cold mountain of this world. There are storms of sickness, of disappointment and disillusionment, storms of adversities, of sorrow and grief that makes the waves and bellows to roll over the soul. Thus many of the life storms come suddenly. We all need to be geared up as we do not have any revelation gift operating. They do not hang out any danger signals for us to foresee. The hopes cherished for years wither in our hands in a night. If, we are God's children we have a hope that "for every storm Jesus gives a silver lining." He gives us a hope beyond hope which no religeon can give. Only crucified an risen christ alone can gives us.
