Before the Apostle Paul went to Rome, he was on a ship for two weeks in a horrible storm, shipwrecked, nearly drowned, lost everything he owned and was bitten by a poisonous viper. Through all these hardships, the thing that sustained him was his faith in the words of God that he would appear before the caesar. He believed the word of God was far more reliable than circumstances. This is an example to our faith when wonderful turns to ominous.
