The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11 that Faith is evidence that we will receive the promises of God. However, our adversary clouds our perspective with circumstances that try to discredit God's promises. He tries to build a case disguising the truth and our promised victory to cause us to give up our faith.

Mary was asked to believe something that had never happened before. As we study her example in faith we may be able to find encouragement for our situations against overwhelming circumstances.

Abraham believed a promise of God for over 25 years before it manifested, and yet sometimes we can't wait until the weekend before our faith is weakened! In the fourth chapter of Romans, Paul tells this story as an example for our own faith when circumstances are overwhelming and things aren't playing out the way we planned.

The Apostle Paul closes his letter by letting us know the consequences of sowing to our flesh. He encourages us to rather sow to our spirit and not to grow tired in doing good in the name of Jesus.

Scripture instructs us to share in one another's burdens and to help lift them up under stressful and crushing circumstances. However, it also instructs us in the same passage to carry our loads. This word refers to a set amount of responsibility that we are given and expected to manage. This message will help you understand the difference in Biblical burden sharing and help that continues to enable someone to live irresponsibly.

In this passage, Paul contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit. While the text is fairly easy to understand, many are confused as to the practical application in the believer's life. Pastor explains this passage with a balanced view of sanctification and grace that will help liberate you from the works of the flesh and condemnation.

The Apostle Paul spends the first four chapters in Galatians speaking on freedom from the law. In Chapter five, he begins to share with us what governs our actions if not the law. Christian liberty and grace don't give us the license to sin but they empower us to live a life of righteousness.

In the Old Testament God's chosen people were described as servants. However, with the sacrifice of Jesus we have become adopted as sons and daughters. This adoption includes a deliverance from the Law and legalism.

Not only did Christ redeem us from the curse of the law (vs 13), He also made us heirs to the blessing of Abraham.
