Far too many Christians use God as a last resort rather than going to Him first! All of the excuses of "I'm not worthy" "I can't really see Him doing it" etc. fall short when you come to the realization you are His child and He really loves you and wants to bless you!

Inspire of the fact David was chosen, anointed and blessed he fell into deep sin! Beware! Thank God He looks at our heart and can forgive and restore even after great sin. On any given day we can begin again and get a fresh start. The ordinal son, David, Paul show us how forgiving and restoring God can be.

So many say, "I never will forget the day I asked Jesus into my life." The truth is He doesn't want to be IN your life He wants to live His life through your life! MY life is to be crucified and His life IS to be my life. MY life needs to end and His life needs to consume me and His will is to be the controlling factor!

David was an adulterer and a murderer. And God judged him for it and there were severe consequences for his sin. Yet in Acts 13:22 we are told that God considered him "a man after God's own heart." Why? How could He?

Romans 8:28 He didn't say "some things" or "most things" or "only good things" He said ALL things WORK together for good to those who 1. "Love God" and 2. "Are called according to His purpose"---that's in His will doing the "ministry" He has called us to!

Paul says we all have a ministry---II For. 4:1 He would also say in Romans 12 that we all have different gifts and callings but one thing is certain---we all are to serve God and be ready at His coming. Maybe morning, maybe noon, maybe evening and maybe soon BUT we are to step it up and be ready.

One of the ways we know things are of God and He wants us to go forward is Satan really steps up his efforts to stop our willingness to step up and go forward!
