Grimsby failed to carry on their unbeaten home start to the new season with Barrow inflicting a 2-1 defeat on an out of sorts Mariners side. The guys begin by trying to pin point where it went wrong for Artell’s men, whether dropping keeper Jordan Wright was the correct call and whether or not fans are right to question the manager’s methods. They then discuss the more positive news of new investors to the club and joke as to whether they’ll be bidding on the latest Main Stand memorabilia. The show is wrapped up with a look ahead to next weekend’s game against Bromley with Ravens fan Andrew Miller… Will Andy Woodman return to spoil Blundell Park’s 125th birthday celebrations?
Hosted and produced by Chris Mills with guests Steve Young, Charles Lumley and Andrew Miller

The Mariners slipped to their third consecutive away defeat of the season at Chesterfield on Saturday but unusually there is still an air of optimism as our pundits set about dissecting the eventful game. They discuss Grimsby’s encouraging performance, another impressive Kieran Green display and a lack of ruthlessness in both boxes. The guys then go on to chat about how Artell is seemingly getting the best out of previously written off players, Eddie the Eagle analogies for perhaps too long and then preview next weekend’s Barrow game with help from Bluebirds fan Taylor Nelson…

After a first win of the season last week The Mariners were quickly brought back down to earth with a bruising 4-1 defeat at Notts County on Thursday night in front of the Sky TV cameras. Despite the loss the guys try to keep perspective, instead praising The Magpies and discussing lessons that could be learnt by the Town squad. They then discuss more injury woe and the impact losing Jordan Davis could have, the fortunate nature of County’s goals and where improvements may still be required. The show is rounded off with an entertaining chat with Jonny from the “Chickens On The Loose” Podcast as he helps preview the visit of Bradford City next weekend… and he’s not overly happy about having to come back to Grimsby again so soon!
Hosted and produced by Chris Mills with guests Adam Howard, George Mann and Jonny Brayson

The Mariners have their first win of the season courtesy of a last minute Jordan Davies free kick and it means the guys are in a buoyant mood when reviewing the game. They discuss (among other topics) the growing belief in the squad, the impact Davies is already having on the team, Vernam’s rocket and Evan Khouri’s versatility. The panellists go on to discuss Grimsby’s penalty heroics in the League Cup against Bradford mid-week, a plumb 2nd round draw with Sheffield Wednesday and then welcome Tom Wagstaff from the ‘Notts County Talk’ podcast to preview Thursday night’s trip to Meadow Lane.
Hosted and produced by Chris Mills with guests Steve Claybourn, Sam Allen ad Tom Wagstaff.

New Season, same frustration! Grimsby begin the 24/25 season with a disappointing yet narrow 1-0 defeat at newly relegated Fleetwood but despite the result the guys still think there are plenty of signs of progress and reasons to be optimistic. They discuss the game, our two newest signings and the potential sell on clause in John McAtee's transfer to Bolton this week before being joined by journalist Jon Palmer from 'Gloucester Live' who helps provide insight on our next league opponents Cheltenham.

In part two of their season preview the guys focus on potential further signings, the heralded new kits, CEO Polly Bancroft, the much maligned Sky TV deal, a tough first month of fixtures and Ben Knapman from 'Cod Vlogs' joins the show to discuss the Mariners opening day fixture at newly relegated Fleetwood.

The guys return with another bonus pre-season interview and this time they are joined by the dulcet tones of former Grimsby striker Martin Gritton. As articulated and eloquent as ever, “Gritts” as he is affectionately known, talks hosts Chris and Adam back through his 14 year journeyman career, beginning with his more unusual route into the professional game. They then discuss his move from Torquay up to Grimsby on Christmas Eve of 2004 and reminisce about his time living in the area and playing in an exciting Russell Slade side that nearly achieved promotion a year later. Which player was he anxious to be re-acquainted with and who did he enjoy playing alongside the most? The guys then ask Martin about his career post Grimsby (including his move to local rivals Lincoln), what he does for a living today and his love for music, perhaps inspired by his brother Kevin– the drummer in 90’s rock band Adorable. And, most importantly of all, we find out what his Grimsby inspired Indie band would have been called!
Hosted and produced by Chris Mills with co-host Adam Howard and special guest Martin Gritton.

Like the old Blundell Park PA system used to crackle… “The boys are back in Town” and they return just in time to help fill the void of the close season with their first ever feature interview. Their inaugural guest is none other than ex Grimsby captain Craig Disley who is often still referred to as a modern day legend of the club. The guys go right back to the start of Craig’s 22 year career, discussing his time at Mansfield and Bristol Rovers and finding out how he became the player that arrived at Blundell Park in the summer of 2011. They then chat in depth about his six year stay with the Mariners detailing the highs and lows of the play off campaigns and his relationship with manager Paul Hurst. Who were his favourite players to play alongside in central midfield? What did he regret after promotion back to the Football League? And what moment in his career was special enough to rank alongside the birth of his children? (Just don’t tell his wife!)
Hosted and produced by Chris Mills with co-host Adam Howard and special guest Craig Disley.
