Sporting endeavors are a quintessential part of childhood, and experts agree that children benefit from them. Children with physical and mental disabilities, however, often face hurdles when they try to join sports teams. Incredibly, competitive coaches may not want a child with limitations on their team. Others fear that they won't be able to effectively coach the child or manage medical emergencies that could occur. But one should not worry. Yes if you are a special child and want to make your career in sports .. you can choose according to your disability. Struggles are required in order to survive in life, because in order to stand up, you have to know what falling is like. Life is full of struggles so lets be the player of struggles. Special children are always aware about the fact stated above and their life is full of colors of hope and determination. They are real heroes who fall and rise in life. We all call them special child and consider that they can't do things that we can. But let me tell you that all children can benefit from the exercise, energy release, and pure enjoyment of playing sports. This includes children with special needs too.

Participating in sports can help boost self-confidence. It can also improve skills in relationship building and working as part of a team. 

Just about any sport or activity can be altered to give children with special needs the cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength-training benefits that allow kids to stay healthy and fit. Children in wheelchairs, for instance, can play basketball or tennis. Children who can't use their limbs or those with mental disabilities can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of horseback riding.

Parents of children with special needs should encourage participation in sports and physical activity in general. Don't approach sports as something they can't do. Rather, guide them toward taking part in sports in which they can succeed and have fun doing so.

This podcast is all about your passion for sports. How you can make your career in sports despite of all challenges. In our last episode we talked about the problems an athlete face while building up his career and in this podcast I have tried to cover up all the major points that an athlete  can adopt and play worry free.

Knowledge about a particular sport is must for Athletes. When I talk about knowledge about sports so it is basically the theoretical, practical, knowing what is good for your training, knowledge about good coach, diet. Thinking on all aspects when playing on ground- whether the sponsor or selectors are present in match. which match is good to play and participate etc.

We all love to play sports. 

Since Childhood we all are involved into different sports be it a indoor or outdoor game. Be it for physical fitness, passion or as a sports career. But why as we grow the charm for playing or making it as a career fades away. Have you ever realized that the percentage of making sports as a career drops down as we grow up.

Tokyo Paralympic winners 2020 has made us all proud where India scripts history with record 19 medals. India registered its largest ever medal haul at the Paralympic Games finishing with five gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals in Tokyo. In this Podcast I have tried to share my views on the journey of Paralympians. What all hardships they go through, Why these Paralympians don't get that recognition what they deserve. In this podcast i have tried to explain that Why Indian athletes has to struggle a lot to win Olympic Gold? Is it the lack of exposure to the competition, lack of funds for travel and sports equipment, lack of promotion to the level where the athletes get the chance to get sponsorship or lack of training with experienced coaches. The answer to the above question is all of the above. Its always said that "उगते सूरज को सब सलाम करते है और यहीं कहानी भारत के हर खिलाड़ी की भी है". An athlete is a born star whether he wins a gold or silver or just comes back with a participation. An athlete undergoes through lots of struggles and hardships and if he wins gold he becomes the headlines , if silver .. he is asked that he missed gold and if he lands with only participation then the athlete don't get any sponsor. We all must understand the sweat, pain, physical and mental pressure an athlete undergoes before his final day. We all should contribute in our own way towards the sports industry.

यह कहानी भारतीय महिला पहलवान गुरशरणप्रीत कौर की है जिनके हौसले की कहानी बहुत ही प्रेरणादाई है। यह कहानी किसी फ़िल्मी पर्दे की कहानी जैसी लगती है पर ज़रा सोचिए कोई औरत जो खुद एक पुलिसवाली हो, पहलवान हो वो महिला अपना घर बचाने के लिए अपनी शादी बचाने के लिए अपने पति और ससुराल वालों के जुर्म क्यू झेलती रहती है। गुरशरणप्रीत के पति उन्हें मारते थे कि वे सिर्फ़ घर पर रहे अपनी पुलिस वाली ड़ूटी करे और रेस्लिंग को हमेशा के लिए छोड़ दे और गुरशरण ने किया भी ऐसा। लेकिन पानी तब सर के ऊपर निकल गया जब बेटी पैदा होने पर गुरशरण के परिवार वालों ने उन्हें ना सिर्फ़ मारा पर यहां तक की उनको कमरे में बंद कर दिया और खाना तक नहीं देते थे। उनके ससुराल वाले यहां पर रुके नहीं उन्होंने गुरशरण की बेटी निमरत को मारने तक की कोशिश की। एक दिन जब गुरशरण ने अपनी बेटी को मारने का प्लान सुना और यहाँ तक सुना कि अगर गुरशरण बीच में आती है तो उसको भी मार देंगे तो वो इतना डर गयी की उन्होंने अपने भाई को रात में फ़ोन कर बुलाया ताकि वो उन्हें वहाँ से लेकर जा सके। गुरशरण के वापस अपनी माँ के घर आ जाने के बाद उनके पति ने उन्हें फ़ोन कर कहा कि मुझमें और बेटी निमरत में से गुरशरण किसी एक को चुन लो तो गुरशरण ने यह कहा कि मैने अपनी बेटी चुन ली है। बस फिर क्या था 2018 में 35  साल की उम्र में गुरशरण ने रेस्लिंग में वापसी की और इतना ही नहीं उन्होंने अब तक 8-9  medal भी जीत लिए है।  इसी साल हुई Asian Championship 2020 में 72 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में गुरशरण  ने कांस्य पदक जीतकर एक नया इतिहास रच दिया।  गुरशरण का सपना है कि वो देश के लिए Olympics में medal जीत देश का नाम रोशन करे और इसके लिए वे जीतोड़ मेहनत भी कर रही है।  तो आइए मिलते है  International Wrestler गुरशरणप्रीत कौर से

Rutaparna Panda is an International Badminton player. She plays doubles and mixed Badminton and her career best ranking is 54. She made it into the top 100 club in May 2019 and has consistently maintained her ranking after a bunch of solid performances on the International circuit.  Rutaparna partners K Maneesha in women’s doubles and Ramchandran Shlok in mixed doubles. Rutaparna won her first BWF title with Maneesha in 2018 Hellas Open. Rutaparna is a two times winner in women’s doubles BWF International Challenge Tournament. She won mixed doubles in the BWF International Series Tournament with Ramchandran in the 2019 Ghana International.   Rutaparna learnt all from her father. Her father was a player too. She saw him playing and got really inspired by him. Rutaparna's father taught the basics of badminton. Rutaparna says that her father was tough on court and friendly off court. As a young player, Rutaparna faced many challenges. She says that her academy was far from her home and she had to travel 30 km to reach there. Rutaparna reached this point in her life and career through hard work and dedication. She says that her grandfather used to say that one that she will become a good player. She remembers him fondly.   Today, Rutaparna is doing her training from Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy and putting in her heart and soul in practising badminton everyday.  Vilasins Sports wishes Rutaparna every success in her life.

Jitender Kumar started Wrestling at the age of 13. He is two times Gold medallist in Commonwealth Championship. He won Silver medal in 74kg category at Asian Wrestling Championship. Jitender parents wanted any one of their son to make their career in wrestling. Today Jitender is training hard under Georgian coach Shako Bentinidis and with 3 times gold medallist at World Wrestling Championship Bajrang Punia.
