This is what it's like for those who claim to be Christians, but are hearers of the Word and not doers. Many of us realize we have a part of our personalities that seems to chose things that aren’t good for us. As believers, even we still sometimes chose to do things that are sinful towards God. As Americans we are truly blessed. Our access to things such as wealth and education is unprecedented throughout human history. Research shows if you earn 50K or more a year, you are in the top 1% income earners in the world. Join us this Sunday as we wrap up our series in 1 Timothy. In the final verses, Paul touches on two final thoughts. How the wealthy in the church should view their wealth and the value of God's Truth over man's knowledge. We have been blessed with much, therefore we must be "Faithful with Much".

It's often wrongly assumed that the love of money is the root of all evil. All though there is some truth to this, it's actually "the LOVE of money" that is "the root of all kinds of evil". A false teacher in a church is no different than a fox in a hen house, or a wolf in sheep's clothing amongst the flock. False teachers are worse than any disease known to man, because disease kills the body, where as false teachers murder the soul.
