It was here in this small Iowa town back in 1912 that 8 people would bludgeoned to death with an axe. The Moore family was a well respected family in town, Jo, was a business man and his wife Sarah worked for the local church. 
Many people were accused of the heinous crime, but no one was ever convicted. The safe, small town was never the same again.
