People too often think of gratitude as a one-dimensional thing: Expressing your good and thankful emotions. That is, “When you feel ‘em, let ‘em out!”  But that doesn’t square with the bible. We need to practice gratitude as a discipline, not just as an emotion. The two are not opposed to one another, they fuel one another.
