The appearances of misinformed piety without devotion to God are hollow substitutes for real relationship with our Father God.  Join David as he continues to examine the mechanics of false religion from Judges 17 and 18 in contrast to the genuine article of life lived with Jesus Christ.

This message is entitled, “Dangerous Liaisons,” for obvious reasons. Samson’s infamous involvement with Delilah, here in chapter 16, results in his capture and eventual death. But aside from the ultimate danger to his life, there are a number of other dangers that emerge from the story as it unfolds. Join Pastor Mark as he explores the many dangers of lust and offers eight practical things you can do to protect yourself. 

In this long-awaited return to the series on Judges, "Ordinary People, Extraordinary God," Pastor Mark walks through the famous series of events that occurred on a place that became known as "Jawbone Hill." Though the story of Samson raises a number of perplexing questions, perhaps the best way to answer these questions is to draw out two lessons about ourselves and two lessons about God from the tangled web of Samson's life. This message, a companion to the last message from Judges, examines the two lessons we learn about God.

In this opening message of the New Year, Pastor Mark explores the surpassing value of following Jesus and challenges the prevailing worldview of the culture that puts a higher price tag on all the wrong things. This is the first message in a year long, periodic series, entitled, "Foundations." 

In his gospel, Matthew names Jesus “Immanuel” tying him to the prophetic message “God with us” from Isaiah 7.  As humans, this is out desire: that God would be with us.  Join David as he explores this idea “God with us” through the story of the Exodus, the Exile and the birth of Jesus.

Each gospel writer offers a unique portrait of Jesus. Matthew sees him as the fulfillment of the Jewish hope, Mark as the suffering servant, Luke as the savior of the world and John...John reveals Jesus as the Word of God, he underlines his uniqueness. What makes Jesus so special? What separates him and what he came to do from all other religious figures? What makes Jesus and Christianity unique? That's the subject of this final Advent message.
