In a message on the text the church is memorizing together, James 1:1-4, Pastor Mark explores the issue of trails, testing and suffering as means, a path, to spiritual maturity.

Summary: How can you know for sure God hears you when you pray and hearing, how do you know he's listening? This is just one of the questions Pastor Mark addresses in the second half of a message entitled, "What's So Extraordinary about God?" 

In this message, Pastor Mark introduces the last of the twelve judges, a man named Samson. As you may know, Samson is as colorful a character as there is in the Bible. His story is the stuff of legend. Among his peers, Samson stands alone as a continual reminder of spiritual potential and actual failure. The fact that God could use a man of many talents is no surprise. The fact that God could use a man with so many flaws is what makes God extraordinary!
