Week 2 (June 29) – Hearing God’s Voice

God still speaks, and His people are meant to follow. This week we’ll teach
how to recognize the voice of God through Scripture and the Holy Spirit.
We’ll look at the importance of cultivating a personal relationship with God
and how His voice leads both individuals and communities into purpose. A
church that takes ground must first be a church that listens.

Week 4 (June 15): Faithfulness In The Land

The conquest slows, and the land is distributed among the tribes. With the major battles behind them, Israel must now decide how to live in the land they’ve been given. Joshua gathers the people and challenges them to remain faithful: “Choose this day whom you will serve.” Covenant renewal, remembrance of God’s acts, and a call to wholehearted devotion mark Joshua’s final words. But cracks are already forming. Will the people be faithful in abundance, or forget the God who gave them victory? (Joshua 13–24)

Week 3 (June 8): Taking The Land

After victory at Jericho comes failure at Ai. Hidden sin in the camp leads to defeat. But when the people deal with the sin, God gives them victory again. What follows is a sweeping military campaign through the central and southern regions of Canaan. The conquest is real, but so is the call to obedience. God is not just interested in external victory—He’s shaping an obedient people. Trust and surrender are still the keys to taking ground. (Joshua 7–12)

Week 2 (June 1): The Next Generation

As Moses nears death, he speaks to the generation born in the wilderness—calling them to remember what God has done, and to walk in obedience as they prepare to enter the land. Joshua is appointed to lead, and God commands him to be strong and courageous. The people finally cross the Jordan, a miraculous moment echoing the Red Sea, and begin their conquest with an unlikely victory: Jericho falls without a sword raised, proving that it is God who gives the land—not human might. (Deuteronomy 4–11; Joshua 1–6)

Week 1 (May 25): Wanderers

After the people refuse to enter the land out of fear, God sends Israel back into the wilderness for forty years. This message walks through the key stories of that season—manna from heaven, water from the rock, the bronze serpent, rebellion and judgment, miraculous provision, and the raising up of a new generation. Though the people are faithless, God remains faithful. Even in discipline, He provides and prepares. The wilderness is not punishment alone—it’s preparation for promise. (Numbers 14–21; Deuteronomy 1–3)

Week 8 (May 18): Twelve Spies & The Journey Ahead
As Israel approaches the Promised Land, twelve spies are sent to scout it. Ten return full of fear, doubting God’s promise, while only two—Joshua and Caleb—stand in faith. Their choice will shape an entire generation. Fear leads to wandering, but faith leads to promise. Will we trust God, or shrink back? (Numbers 13–14)

Week 7 (May 11): The Tabernacle: God Dwelling Among His People
God commands Israel to build the Tabernacle, a portable dwelling place for His presence. Every part of it points forward to Jesus, who would one day "tabernacle" among us. This moment shows us that God’s greatest desire is to be near His people. His presence is not distant—He walks with us, even in the wilderness. (Exodus 25–40, John 1:14)

Week 6 (May 4): The Mountain of God: Covenant & Rebellion

At Mount Sinai, God gives Israel the Ten Commandments, calling them to be His holy people. But while Moses is on the mountain, Israel turns to idolatry, crafting a golden calf in rebellion against God. Though judgment follows, God also shows mercy, renewing His covenant and dwelling among His people. His faithfulness remains, even when we fail. (Exodus 19–20, 32–34)

Week 5 (April 27): Through the Red Sea: Baptized into Freedom

With Pharaoh’s army closing in, Israel is trapped between the Red Sea and certain death. But God parts the waters, and His people walk through on dry ground, while their enemies are swallowed by the sea. This event mirrors baptism—passing from death to life, from slavery to freedom. God is still making a way for those who trust Him. (Exodus 14–15)
