Week 5 (July 28) – The Parable of the Mustard Seed
Scripture: Matthew 13:31-32, Mark 4:30-32, Luke 13:18-19
The Parable of the Mustard Seed conveys the kingdom of God's humble
beginnings and its expansive, unforeseen growth. For disciples, it's a
lesson in faith and the potential of small beginnings empowered by God.
This parable encourages disciples to not underestimate the impact of their
faith and actions, no matter how insignificant they may seem. It illustrates
how the kingdom grows in ways and extents beyond human expectation,
teaching disciples patience, trust in God’s processes, and hope for the
transformative power of God’s work in the world.
