Formed in 1979 this album showcased the melodic hard rock sound. Many will recognize the progressive undertones that gave it that edge. Funny anecdote, our son came home from college for a few days and this album was out in the room he was staying in. I asked him how he slept. He said the album cover was fairly creepy at 4 am. Yes Rick is Australian, but dont hold that against him as most of the US didn't as he was already a heart-throb having been in numerous TV shows in the late 70's. The 1981 release of Working class Dog saw him also working a day job on the soap opera General Hospital. Nevertheless this album cemented his status as a rocker that could also act.
