Elon Musk's acquisition of social medial platform Twitter truly felt like it was on wobbly legs even before it began. From hostile boards, to poison pills, deal "holds", to spam accounts allegations -- it just never seemed like it was on sure footing. And today, that footing gave way.

Activision Blizzard (or ABK, inclusive of mobile developer King) has had a rough year, but as the company's pending acquisition by Microsoft continues to wind its way through the regulatory process, one game has been announced to release before any such deal could come to fruition: Overwatch 2.

The only issue? Overwatch 2 isn't actually releasing. At least not in the way we usually think.
