Meta (formerly Facebook) and its Meta (formerly Oculus) Quest VR headset line, are brilliant pieces of engineering and the best entry point for VR super fans and first-timers alike -- themselves helping to fuel the Meta App Store to over $1B in sales.

So why then did Meta just increase the price of that entry point by more than 25%?

I have some...editorial thoughts on that as well as on the direction Sony is heading with its PSVR2 product launch.

Bungie, the creator of Destiny and Halo, is now a Sony PlayStation company.

But that fact has not stopped them from bringing legal action against a multitude of foes, including, now, an alleged serial cheater (that also is alleged to have threatened the company's employees).

What made the company bring this particular case, and what does it mean for other cheaters in their and other ecosystems?

When one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges (Coinbase) has an employee allegedly leaking valuable information to his brother and friend, the law will certainly have something to say.

Buying digital content has never been easier. Between Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and more, your favorite game, song, or movie is just a click (and charge) away.

But now Ubisoft's plans to end support for a multitude of games has called it's entire ownership structure into question, and that of its platform partner Steam. Everything may not be as bad as initially feared, but it may just be a pause in what is becoming an increasingly fraught environment.
