It’s been a minute ! So many changes and welcoming my partner onto the podcast for this episode 🌱

Hector and I are going to unpack romantic relationships in our 20’s and our viewpoints about relationships.

Romantic relationships are never easy and there are ALOT of factors that play into our expectations. My hope is that you’re able to draw some insights about romantic relationships and what they are like for you in your life.

Talking about challenges, how we’ve overcome them and what has worked for us !

Remember un día a la vez! every relationship is different and it always starts and ends with YOU and YOUR partner. You’re the expert on your experience- be patient and always center it in love, among all I hope you take away that love can be painful but relationships should feel worth it.

I know I can’t be the only 20 y algo that spends money recklessly. I’m here to talk about it!  Also, simply to open up some conversation about why in my own experience... I spend money a lo pendejo. I share some of my upbringing and beliefs with money, along with some questionable purchases and my thought process.

Some themes I hope to introduce come from growing up in a low-middle class household and how we carry over teachings from our parents. It’s not a comfortable conversation and very easy to judge, but here’s my transparent truth on my Toxic Relationship with money! Just because we're young doesn't mean that we have to set ourselves up for failure simply because we haven't been encouraged to do better. I hope you can take some of my rant and use it to shift your perspective on money and analyze your own relationship with it. I’ve been doing some research and have some plans in place to create a space to share some important financial literacy resources with our youth, let me know if you’re interested!

We dive deep into a theme of “holding yourself accountable”, and talk about some common themes of navigating adulthood in the Latinx cultura. What is passion, how do you define it? What does it mean to you? How the heck do you find it?!

I provide a space for you all to question your likes, dislikes, dreams, and interests. The conversation about passion is difficult and brings up a lot of frustration, my goal is to help you navigate the conversation openly and relieve some of that stress. This is not a “noche a la mañana” process, it takes time but the process is so worth it. I talk about strategies that can be used to guide you in this journey and provide some personal experiences as a reference. As 20yalgos we don’t always get told that we should try and find our pasión, and do what drives us. Im here to remind you all that you can find your passion, and that passion will help guide you to feeling fulfilled when walking into your higher purpose. Hear me out! Episode 3 - “ITS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY“

The previous episodes have led up to this! Let’s talk mental health and mental wellness. We hear so many messages about self-care and mental health, I break it all down for you. I introduce a conversation regarding this topic and I ask questions that can help you start to do some introspection. We aren’t always provided the space to talk about not being okay, but I promise it's okay. I encourage you to dive deep and take whatever serves you. I talk about how to be aware of your emotions, learned ideas about mental health, generational differences, Latinx Parenting , Toxic Masculinity and I offer some tools for self-healing, awareness and wellness. As a mental health advocate I extend my heart and time to help you all understand yourself a little better.
