Deze week stond in het teken van verbinding, heling en groei. Mijn jeugdvriendin kwam op bezoek en na jaren van ups en downs hebben we opnieuw voor elkaar gekozen. We praatten, lachten en maakten plannen voor de toekomst. Cannon maakte ook mooie stappen en liet zien dat groei er voor iedereen anders uitziet. De zaadjes die ik jaren geleden heb geplant, beginnen te bloeien, en ik ben dankbaar voor de zachtheid van dit seizoen. Dit is mijn week 5 reflectie.

This week was filled with reconnection, healing, and growth. My childhood best friend came to visit, and after years of ups and downs, we’ve chosen each other again. We talked, we laughed, we made plans for the future. Cannon made progress too, reminding me that growth looks different for everyone. The seeds I planted years ago are starting to bloom, and I’m grateful for the softness of this season. This is my Week 5 reflection

This moment was special. For the first time in a long time, I let my guard down with my brother. I cried, I felt my emotions, and he held me—even through the phone. He reminded me that I deserve it, and it felt like the hug I didn’t know I needed.

He’s always believed in me, from the time we were kids until now, reminding me, ‘You can do it. I believe in you.’

Family love is powerful. This episode is a reminder that when one of us wins, we all win. 🌱💛

Boundaries are not rejection — they are love. Love for myself and love for others. This week I reflect on how protecting my energy has changed the way I show up. Setting limits doesn’t make me cold, it makes me whole.

Deze week was één van de mooiste weken van mijn leven. Ik vierde mijn verjaardag, ik voelde me echt levend, en ik werd herinnerd aan de liefde die mij omringt. Ik leer halfslachtige connecties los te laten, echte moeite te waarderen en geluk te vinden in mijn eigen gezelschap. Van opnieuw beginnen met slechts twee rugzakken tot vandaag mijn zegeningen tellen — dit is mijn week 4 reflectie.

This week has been one of the best of my life. I celebrated my birthday, I felt alive, and I was reminded of the love that surrounds me. I’m learning to let go of half-hearted connections, to appreciate true effort, and to find happiness in my own company. From starting over with just two backpacks to counting my blessings today — this is my Week 4 reflection.

This birthday feels different. Turning 31 arrived with more peace, more softness, and more gratitude. In this episode, I reflect on growth, motherhood, and the strength it takes to start again.
