Kari Lake, senior adviser to the U.S. Agency for Global Media, has cut 85% of the agency’s workforce—1,400 positions—including hundreds at Voice of America. Calling it a move to dismantle a “bloated, unaccountable bureaucracy,” Lake said the layoffs fulfill Trump’s executive order to downsize federal media.
