Join Raheel Ahmad for Thursday’s show from 4-6pm where we will be discussing: ‘Shrinking Families’ and ‘Moral Family’
Shrinking Families
Join us as we explore the changing structures of families and explore dynamics of ageing within multi-generational households. Exploring both secular and Islamic perspectives, we'll discuss the implications of shrinking family sizes on the experience of ageing, the importance of community support systems, and how traditional values intersect with modern challenges in caring for the young as well as the elderly.
Moral Life
A dramatic increase in the use of social media platforms, alongside the rapid advancement of technology, has significantly altered societal dynamics, often leading to the degradation of moral values and the rise of a Godless culture. Social media can perpetuate harmful behaviours such as cyberbullying, misinformation, and the glorification of materialism and superficiality. Moreover, the constant exposure to explicit content and the normalisation of unethical behaviour can desensitise individuals to moral standards.
