Avaya Chairman and CEO Don Peterson outlines a future where Service Oriented

Architectures let enterprises build three-tier networks, in which

communications applications run on top of communications services,

and in turn support business applications. Catherine Brune of Allstate

Insurance Company describes how these architectures helped her company

recover after Hurricane Katrina.
