Weshalb zieht es immer mehr junge Menschen aus Ungarn noch während ihres Studiums ins Ausland? Darüber spricht Helga Lázár (28), Studentin und Dozentin an der Budapester Universität für Theater- und Filmkunst - der SZFE - in unserer vierten Podcastfolge mit Allegra Mercedes Pirker.
Seit der Wahl 2010 blieb in Ungarns Kulturlandschaft kaum ein Stein auf dem anderen. Gabor Thury hat den Umbau der Kunstszene hautnah miterlebt. Im Gespräch mit Matthias Schmid berichtet er von einem gespaltenen Land, dem Kulturkampf der Regierung Orban und der Hoffnung auf Veränderung.
Attia Rajab ist gebürtiger Palästinenser aus Gaza. Seit vierzig Jahren lebt und arbeitet er in Deutschland. Im Interview mit Hanna Frischenschlager spricht er über die aktuelle Lage in Gaza, über den Konflikt zwischen Israel und Palästina und einen möglichen Lösungsansatz: Er sieht israelische Juden und Jüdinnen nicht als Feinde sondern als Verbündete im Einsatz für einen vereinten demokratischen Staat.
"Du kannst Künstler sein, wenn du die Wahrheit nicht sehen willst", sagt Soheil Zamani. In Wien lebt er seit etwa drei Jahren, im Iran wäre er für seine Kunst ins Gefängnis gegangen. Seit der islamischen Revolution im Jahr 1979 wird das Land islamisch regiert. Die Meinungs- und Pressefreiheit ist extrem eingeschränkt: Die Regierung zensiert die Medien, steckt Journalist:innen ins Gefängnis oder richtet sie hin. Im Podcast mit Marlene Klotz spricht der junge Künstler über staatliche Zensur, Gesangsverbot für Frauen und verbotene Nacktheit in der Kunst.
