This week, AB, Nate and Mike are here to talk all about All Elite Wrestling and the Elite Extended Universe! We have a bit of a different format this week to talk about the 11/11 episode of AEW Dynamite, as we tackle a big issue up front with AEW: Managing expectations using the tweets and reports from Wednesday as a touchpoint. In this we talk about “shifting the balance of power in wrestling” in the return of PAC, debut of Jade Cargill and the tease of Cody vs. Shaquille O’Neal. After that, we take listener ELITE OR DELETEs, talk ratings and review the rest of this week’s Dynamite!

Welcome back to Open the Voice Gate! Case (https://twitter.com/_inyourcase) and Mike (https://twitter.com/fujiiheya) are back with an update on the comings and goings of Dragongate.

The biggest month in Dragongate history brings us to the biggest show on DG’s calendar: It’s time to preview Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival 2020!

Before Case and Mike get into that, they zoom through the 11/5 Korakuen Hall and 11/7 Kyoto KBS Hall shows, touching on the reveal of Boku R Shimizu, SB KENTo and the incomprehensible great chemistry of U-T and Shuji Kondo.

Then it’s over an hour of Kobe World preview as they break down every match on the show. What’s going to happen in Ishida vs Okuda IV? Will Kamei and Kikuta keep up with SBK? A wild trios match featuring a lot of people we thought would be doing bigger things! And then an in depth look at the main event for the Open the Dream Gate as Eita will defend against the returning Shun Skywalker. Case gives an beat by beat look at Shun Skywalker’s last few years and Mike talks about how important this match is for the next fifteen years of Dragongate!

The Kobe World preview starts at 00:30:20.

This week on Wrestling Omakase we talk three big shows from this past week: NJPW Power Struggle, DDT Ultimate Party and Tokyo Joshi Wrestle Princess!

The Wrestling Omakase Patreon will be covering three big tournaments in November & December: NJPW's World Tag League and Best of the Super Juniors, and DDT's D-ou! Plus get access to all of our previous coverage including daily audio from the recent G1 Climax, complete series covering every Okada-Tanahashi & Naito-Ishii match in chronological order, random match reviews submitted by patrons covering everything from late 80s UWF, early 90s WAR, early 00s AJPW and more, exclusive full 5 Matches episodes you can't get on the free feed, ANIME OMAKASE and a whole lot more! You can get access to all it right now for only $5 at www.patreon.com/wrestlingomakase!

John is joined by returning guest Hayley (@choerrycoloured) for three big show reviews! Before that they talk a little about the US election, so if you're really sick of election talk (understandable) just skip ahead about 10 minutes to start out. Once that's out of the way they begin their three big show reviews with NJPW Power Struggle, a show John really liked that also featured a major booking decision they weren't a huge fan of. Hayley, as the resident Kota Ibushi superfan, discusses her feelings on Ibushi being the first person to lose the Tokyo Dome briefcase. The two of them break down all six matches in detail, discuss Will Ospreay's (ahem) interesting presentation, and a whole lot more. They also break down the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors schedule and the Super J Cup tournament bracket.

Then they turn their attention to DDT Ultimate Party, again reviewing all ten matches on the card. They talk about the emotional DAMNATION civil war, an awesome AJPW/NOAH throwback in Akiyama-Takeshita, losing a match because you tried to hit on a girl on Instagram, and a whole lot more! Finally, they wrap things up with a full review of TJPW Wrestle Princess, an outstanding show that might just be the show of the year. They talk about a truly amazing main event along with the rest of the show, with a lot of praise for the amazing Saki-Misao match as well.

We'll go over a few things we've learned about WWE's finances after the Q3 report last week and a preview of a new estimate for Q4. Brandon estimates WWE will report more than $160 million in net income for the full year of 2020.

Plus, now may be the time for a mainstream pro wrestling company to have a more sports-like creative approach.
