Voices of Wrestling Podcast Network

This week on Wrestling Omakase we discuss two great nights of the G1 (including the best night so far) and an incredible final in the NOAH N-1 Victory!

The Wrestling Omakase Patreon is your only place to get our full coverage of all three tournaments from New Japan, All Japan and NOAH. Weekend shows will be covered here on the free feed, but John will bring even more daily coverage of the weekday shows exclusive to the Patreon, including with guests too! We'll be breaking down the stretch run all week on the Omakase Patreon, and it will be the only place to hear our coverage of Nights 15, 16, and 17 (the A block finals from Ryogoku!). Plus, you can hear all the other tournament shows we've covered there so far dating back to September (including the AJPW Champion Carnival finals from this past week!) and the rest of our great audio content as well. It's all up there right now for just $5 per month at www.patreon.com/wrestlingomakase!

John is joined by returning guest JoJo Remy (@jojo_runs) as they start by talking about the state of COVID in Japan (where JoJo is joining us from!) and the announcement of a tourism opening date. Then they quickly head into their show reviews, starting with Nights 13 & 14 of the G1 Climax! They break down some incredible matches, discuss MONEY CLIP GATE in great detail, break down what EVIL is and isn't good at, and a whole lot more. After the G1 they head back to the land of NOAH for the final night of the 2020 N-1 Victory, a great show featuring an absolutely incredible final with Kaito Kiyomiya and Katsuhiko Nakajima. They discuss whether both or either are legit Most Outstanding Wrestler contenders, plus break down the whole show match-by-match including a great junior title match (and touch on some of the controversy surrounding Kaz Fujita). A packed show of tournament action!
