Kind of a holiday paced STR this week and next as we both watched what we could.  Jeff is geeked about Bianca Belair's first opportunity at a Takeover.  Plus more adulation for NXT UK's "Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman.

This week on Wrestling Omakase the Year in Review series reaches its penultimate episode as we cover the Dramatic Dream Team! Back for another year, the Year in Review series will focus on a different promotion each week and get you all caught up on them. Didn't see a ton from their year? Feel like you need a refresher course? We go through as much of the year as we can in chronological order, highlighting stuff you may have missed along the way. Then we discuss our picks from the promotion for the traditional Observer-style awards, including: Wrestler of the Year, Most Outstanding Wrestler, Best Major Show, Match of the Year and more.

DDT's 2018 was filled with many ups and downs, and here to help John cover it all are the two most prolific guests in Omakase history: Jesse (@K0jiii (https://twitter.com/K0jiii) ) and Taylor (@tamaimbo (https://twitter.com/tamaimbo) ). All three discuss everything that happened in one of their favorite promotions, including: both D-ous and the King of DDT, the end of Takeshita's KO-D Openweight Title reign, the chaotic Irie era, the monthly Korakuens and two major supercards, Maji Manji, and much more, including even some Ganbare! We also look ahead toward 2019, give our awards picks (including a MOTY list separated into "comedy/gimmick" & "serious" to highlight the best of both), and answer your questions. It's a jam packed journey through a very interesting year, this week!
