Open the Voice Gate is finally back and we've got A Very Special Episode for you this time. For various grad school and work-related reasons our normal co-hosts Case Lowe & Mike Spears are both missing in action, but we have one hell of a replacement for them: Joe Lanza from the VOW flagship makes his Open the Voice Gate debut! Joe helps John & Milo break down the somewhat surprising results from the (still unaired) Champions Gate shows, and then all three of them go deep on a show they've actually seen, the March 8th Korakuen. Plus: how many times can Milo threaten to kill Joe in one episode? Why did we break down the entire gimmick history of Dolph Ziggler? And we've got a ton of mailbag questions to go through on everything from Ben-K's ceiling to our most underrated DG matches ever and much more!

In this week’s edition of the New Japan Purocast, we review the opening nights of the New Japan Cup 2017.
