Voices of Wrestling Podcast Network

WWE Hell In A Cell 2015 has come and gone, and we'll discuss all the highlights from WWE's annual PPV special on a live edition of Shake Them Ropes. The winners, losers, future and more is on the docket on STR 113.

Please consider subscribing via iTunes, sharing our videos on YouTube, and letting others know you listened on Twitter! Every little bit helps, and we greatly appreciate it!

A special bonus weekend edition of the VOW podcast! Join Joe on this solo mission as he banters with himself about why he "hates" Ru Gunn and the now infamous Barbi Hayden GoFundMe before wrapping things up with a break down of the first round of the NJPW Super Juniors Tag Tournament. As per the usual, Joe loses focus and gets sidetracked many times along the way, with random topics like the history of FIP, ROH TV ratings, Takaaki Kidani telling WWE to get lost, and a live update on the state of his backyard fence in the face of Hurricane Patricia. It's 90 bonus minutes of VOW, so stop reading and start listening!

Voices of Wrestling returns with a very special edition as regular co-host Rich Kraetsch is joined by Voices of Wrestling's WWE Raw reviewer Sean Flynn (@spiffie6123). Rich and Sean discuss betting on the Chicago Cubs in hopes of winning free pizza for a year and the bizarre Barbi Hayden/GoFundMe controversy. The attention turns then to WWE as WWE Hell in a Cell is previewed, as well as long-form discussions on The Shield's reunion, the lack of follow-through on the Wyatt Family breakup and why WWE wrestlers don't exist in an actual universe occupied by other human beings. Last but certainly not least, memories of WCW Halloween Havoc including Sean's attendance at WCW Halloween Havoc 1990 are discussed at great length.

Shake Them Ropes' annual WWE Hell In A Cell preview show looks at the main events of this Sunday's Pay Per View, including Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker in the Cell. We'll get into rumors of Tyler Breeze's impending debut, who will challenge John Cena for the US Championship, and what happened to Luke Harper. Plus, Match #59 on our Top 100 countdown features the end of the Invasion, the Survivor Series 2001 main event pitting Team WWF vs The Alliance.

Be sure to subscribe free to our YouTube channel, as we'll be LIVE following WWE Hell In A Cell on Sunday with STR #113, our HIAC Live Post Show.

Rob, Oli and Arn are joined by our first ever guest Garrett Kidney as we valiantly fight through a podcast curse to bring you our thoughts on the critically acclaimed weekend of joint shows between New Japan and RevPro. Was O'Reilly-KUSHIDA really as good as their previous encounter? What is the title picture going forward? Has there ever been anything more glorious than Naito spitting on a kid?

In this edition of the New Japan Purocast, Collin and Damon take a look at the October 23 NJPW Road to Power Struggle card from Saitama and the October 24 Korakuen Hall show featuring the start of the Super Jr. Tag Tournament. Also, Damon gives his thoughts on the RevPro & NJPW Global Wars: UK shows from earlier this month. Plus, more speculation on the Wrestle Kingdom 10 card, thoughts on the signing on Juice Robinson, NJPW on AXS TV, and much more.

After a one-week hiatus, the flagship Voices of Wrestling podcast returns with an extensive look at New Japan Pro Wrestling's King of Pro-Wrestling 2015 event, where New Japan goes from here, why Okada/Tanahashi hasn't been overdone and what to look forward to for NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 10. We then turn our attention to Pro Wrestling NOAH, discuss recent happenings in the company, who their savior could be and if the product is finally starting to show positive signs.

Last but not least we got stateside to talk NXT TakeOver crowds, the EVOLVE/WWE deal and what it means for both companies.

Shake Them Ropes is loaded this week with plenty of WWE talk, plus two special guests join the show. First, former WWE, WCW, and TNA star Jeff Jarrett joins to discuss his future in wrestling, Global Force Wrestling, memories of Dusty Rhodes, and whether or not he'll produce Wrestle Kingdom again on US Pay Per View. Then, WWNLive & EVOLVE promoter Gabe Sapolsky joins STR to talk the news that NXT Superstar Sami Zayn, formerly El Generico in EVOLVE, will appear on this weekend's EVOLVE Wrestling events in New York. We ask Gabe how this appearance came to be, what it means for the future between WWNLive and EVOLVE, and more. Plus, we get Gabe's thoughts on recent NXT'er Johnny Gargano, as well as the debuting Matt Riddle.

Rob & Jeff will get into the hot topics from this week in WWE, including the big name missing from the current Hell In A Cell card. Capping off the show in Match #60 in our WWE Network Top 100 Countdown, with Taz vs Bam Bam Bigelow from ECW Living Dangerously up on this week's docket.
