@paperplanexmusic's Imagine If returns for episode seven with @haroldheathofficial

A DJ since the late 80s, producer of a few hundred records and author of Long Relationships, a memoir Bill Brewster called the best thing on dance music he'd read in years, Harold has built a life inside dance music that didn't quite go where he hoped. Then wrote about it more honestly than almost anyone else has.

They talk about teenage mixtapes as a mating ritual that never worked, a dream gig at a university student union and what reading your own book back looks like after a late autism and ADHD diagnosis. They also get into what success actually means when the festival stage isn't coming.

The conversation unfolds around 40 minutes in. Before that, Paperplane sets the tone with records that meander smoothly between house and techno. Then, Harold takes over with a mix that will viscerally remind you why you fell in love with house music.

I use this as a starting point to explore the in between of spaces, places and time through a selection of field recordings, spoken word, folk, ambient, electronic and experimental music from the Basque Country as well as from other countries across the world and their regions.
