Philippa is back to take us on a morning walk through the Boglands, exploring human relationship to place and nature through experimental, traditional, improvised and contemporary music. This month's show features a guest mix and interview with Flo Lines.

Flo Lines is an artist and musician based in London. She has a collage-like approach to music making, informed by her background in radio production and audio-visual art, with a practice that combines sounds both found and played. She blends compositions from different takes captured in different spaces both indoors and out, to create slow sonic medleys that transport the listener through different places and feelings. Her EP, 'The only thing left is everything', was released through Lost Map Records.

For this month’s @the.blocksldn missive, @ftronicplaysmusic takes us through some of his recent digs. Expect deep and wonky tracks, picked up from a long summer of dancing.

Continuing the journey through electro, featuring the classics alongside some newer faces on the scene, and ending with some Detroit ghetto tech. Unfortunately, as is with a lot of electro, it was tricky to find any female or gender minority producers which fit the vibe of this mix. Only 2% of electronic producers globally are not cisgender men.

This month @thoughtsonelvis welcomes @sydneyandstreet back to the Voices airwaves, this time for a solo hour of Long Distance Love! The Sydney based producer & DJ fuses her musical background in Classical Violin and Sonic Arts with atmospheric electronic production, Isabella’s creative practice experiments with both traditional and innovative sound technologies and techniques across genres. 

Through ambient storytelling and unique soundscapes in her latest projects ’Miss You', ‘Right Hand’ and ‘Tell Me’, sydneyandstreet pushes the limits of sonic expression and innovation. Having gained valuable audio experience working at renowned studios in Sydney and London, Isabella continues to create with emerging artists exploring the musical realms of Electronic, Pop, Indie, Classical and Jazz.

Look out for her new residency on Grounded Radio where she’ll present a show called FEMME FORCE mix - championing female-identifying creatives!
