For the last two hours, you’ve been locked into the sounds of Tesfa Williams, guiding a soulful navigation through house, broken beat and percussive, forward-thinking rhythms. Tap in and let the sunshine-soaked sounds carry you through.

Spring had truly sprung on the day the Duo recorded this show. They sat in the garden, took the warmth from the new sun, and then spread that warmth thickly over an hour of soulful music that comes from the heart. Tracks played on the show come from Mammal Hands, Laura Misch, Sanaya Ardeshir, Omasta, Andrew Wasylyk, and Theon Cross, amongst others.

Forever wrestling with low slung records, barely making it to 125 bpm. There's something about lower tempo chuggier bits with elements of peak time tracks that seems to scratch the itch. New and old as per, with some hard to obtain finds, cheap & readily available cuts combined with the latest addiction of obscure tracks you find as fillers in albums or compilations.

This month features an unreleased cut from Joe Mellors, alongside a timeless track from Ollie Drummond, both of which command your attention if you’re into the dubby, wonkier side of tech house.

Full Beams is a DJ from Leeds. Their multi-genre approach to selections comes from playing all manner of free parties, from sweaty flat gatherings to all night sound system marathons in the Scottish highlands. This mix features funky tracks to soundtrack the start of spring, with gems from some of the greats and big tracks from some of their favourite producers.

Oxford’s Simple family continue their monthly show on Voices featuring residents and special guests. This month Bob E Demons brings us a special mix straight off the back of two mega shows supporting Soul Mass Transit System & Dr Banana. Bradford-born, Oxford-based, via a few hard years of London; head full of bleeps, legs wobble with bass. Known for slamming records together that shouldn’t, mostly acid house, post punk, percussive clangers and techno bangers but loves throwing in a few surprises. Recent slots alongside Neffa T, Surusinghe and Bakey have shown he’s a force behind the decks and this mix is a late night, dynamic and powerful journey through dubby techno and weird & wonky acid sounds.

A staple of Oxford’s nightlife for the past 26 years, Simple continues to throw parties with some of the best DJs on the global circuit as well as local homegrown talent. They’ve just launched their Spring/Summer season of events with a stunning headline set from Soul Mass Transit System kicking things off on Jan 31st…much more to come over the next few months - Tim Reaper, Blumitsu, Wookie, Just Jane and many more, keeping them at the forefront of the scene.

ZE: NA's sound is rooted in her upbringing in London, influenced by garage, grime, reggae, and R&B, and later shaped in Bristol's bass music scene.

Drawing on UK garage, bass, jungle, breaks, and soulful vocals, she has built a distinctive style with which she is building a name for in Berlin, including an outstanding debut at RSO that absolutely blew my mind away.
