  • Iriarte - 05/05/26 - [Voices Radio]
Iriarte, my grandma's maiden name, is a Basque word for someone who lives between settlements. I use this as a starting point to explore the in between of spaces, places and time through a selection of field recordings, spoken word, folk, ambient, electronic and experimental music from the Basque country as well as from other countries across the world and their regions.

  • ArTox w/ Shahina Jaffer & Love Hannington - 04/05/2026 [Voices Radio]
Celebrating May, the 4th with a twist. empowering art as activism! Ever wonder why so many artists say their work is more than just visuals?
Drop a 🔥 if you've felt the power of art to challenge and heal.
Shahina Jaffer, an expert at blending art, activism, and social justice, explained her journey from childhood love for drawing to creating layered works that spotlight race, power, and belonging. Her signature "line of invisibility" technique actually reveals layers beneath the surface, inviting us to look deeper into our stories and histories.
Art isn’t just decoration; it’s a statement, a tool for transformation. When you see her work, you’re not just observing you’re experiencing a dialogue on identity and justice.
What’s your favourite way art has helped you process or express difficult truths?
Maybe it’s time to pick up that brush or pencil and give your story a voice.
    Worth thinking about.

  • Am I The Villain 04/05/26 - Voices Radio
That’s right - yet another podcast where the host reads out Reddit stories! Still listen though because mine are more interesting than the others, trust me. I’m Feyi, bringing you a show for film and TV lovers. I’ve gone out of my way to source exceptionally unique and entertaining ‘AITA’ stories, and give my unqualified verdict on whether or not they’re an innocent bystander, or suffering from severe main character syndrome.
Stories on this ep follow baby mama drama, f boy fiances, and a potential sister showdown.

  • The Voices Breakfast Show w: Heather Wall 04/05/26 - Voices Radio
Heather Wall stepping in for Kit Lockey on the Voices Breakfast Show, guiding the airwaves through a Bank Holiday Monday with quiet intention.
The session unfolds as a gentle, upward arc-drawing from jazz, samba, highlife and percussive fusions, allowing rhythm to breathe and set the mood. There’s a lightness to the curation.
Whether you’re up early or easing into the day, stay locked right here. We’re holding a steady frequency this morning, something to move with, think with, or simply let play in the background as the day unfolds. Tea brewing, windows open, sun (hopefully) making an appearance… this is your Bank Holiday reset.
Keep it right here on Voices Radio, we’ve got more sounds on the way.

  • Sunny Spells w/ Drastic Shuffle - 04/05/26 - [Voices Radio]
Two years of soundtracking the first Monday of the month at Voices Radio and I still can't quite believe it.
This show started as an ambient experiment: horizontal, slow, designed to ease rather than energise. But it mutated into something that felt more true: the music I'd actually want to hear waking up, or lying in on a bank holiday with nowhere to be. Sweet, accessible, all genres welcome. Ambient, experimental pop, jazz, soul, reggae, dub, deep house... whatever carries that feeling of a gentle, unhurried morning.
This second anniversary show drifts from Maps and Diagrams through Boards of Canada, Caribou and The Books, past Hall & Oates and Dead Man's Bones, and out the other side via Axel Boman, Route 8 and Teen Daze. A little bit of everything that this show has become.
