Philippa is back to take us on a morning walk through the Boglands, exploring human relationship to place through music, this time with a mix dedicated to Simon Mulheron who very sadly and unexpectedly died on 27.12.2025.

Simon’s loss is felt heavily in the Hackney Wick community which he was so active in building, as well as in his hometown Derry where Simon worked at the bar and legendary music venue Sandinos, opened by his father, the singer Joe Mulheron. This mix celebrates the spirit of resistance, community, and the meaning of sharing a deep love of music with friends which lives on. Rest in power Simon.

Scissor Salad are a multi-genre lesbian DJ duo who landed on the Glasgow scene from Seoul, South Korea, and they takeover the full 2 hours of this month’s edition of Gunk on Voices.

Yuzo and KIIIA blend high-energy club sounds with ballroom, baile funk, bubbling, and anything bouncy, bassy, and percussive designed to keep you dancing all night long.

They’ve ignited dancefloors across the UK and Europe, including a standout set at Sub Club supporting Bimini.

This set was inspired by a recent night drive across northern New Mexico. It’s one of those places where bouncing down a dirt road through grasslands and sage brush you may see or experience something magical, other worldly, spooky even. In the distance, the moon illuminates snow atop the Sangre De Cristo Peaks and the smell of juniper burning from a fire somewhere wafts in through rolled down windows. Perhaps while finding your own rhythm to the music, you might sense the energy of moving tectonic plates, volcanoes or the shallow sea that once existed here. - Hope you enjoy.

Nach is a London-based DJ originally from NYC, and is inspired by diverse sounds and electronic music from around the world, and in particular by house music from South Africa.

Kade Young is a producer, DJ, educator, and label head from Baltimore, MD, championing a combined love of house and club music. A fixture in the Bmore and DMV scenes, Kade guides dance floors with a tight balance of bouncy edits and moody rhythms.

Young maintains a brisk output of must-haves for any Bmore enthusiast. Collaborations with Night Slugs, Clasico Records, Beatitude Recordings and a plethora of self-releases showcase Young’s penchant for constructing thoughtful dance music meant to move hearts and feet.

Together with JIALING, Kade launched a new label, WOE, in 2024, offering a fresh take on the classic Bmore sound. In 2025, Kade started an introductory music production workshop geared towards teaching aspiring queer, femme, and trans artists in Baltimore the ins-and-outs of creating electronic dance music.

This mix finds Kade leaning into his soulful house music roots, blending classics and new staples with the intent to start the year on a meditative, introspective note.
