No borders. No fixed geography. Just sound in motion.
As electronic music continues to define the sound of the summer, the idea of the genreless
keeps pushing back — bending the rules, crossing frequencies and questioning what electronic
music can actually sound like.
Originally scheduled for August, CROSS CARNIVAL moves through bouyon, baile funk,
Caribbean pressure, Brazilian bass and the wider frequencies of the South.
Sound systems crossing borders. Carnival logic without a map. Local rhythms meeting global
ones and becoming something else.
Playboi Carti through baile funk. The Weeknd through carnival pressure. Familiar voices
dropped into unfamiliar climates.
A genreless Brazilian universe somewhere at the centre of it all — funk, percussion, electronics,
rap, pop, street sounds, all folding into each other.
No clean lines between club and carnival.
No fixed geography.
No genre loyalty.
Just bass, rhythm, movement and the sounds that happen when cultures collide.
Bouyon → Baile Funk → Sound Systems → Brazil → Bass → Carnival → Everywhere.
