We hadn’t been out to Hamilton Ohio’s Municipal Brew Works to chat with them since the week they opened their doors back in 2016, which meant I needed to find a good excuse to make this show happen.  Luckily for me (and you) they’ve got their second bottle release coming up, a release of a barrel aged old ale called ‘Long Slumber’, which provides a fantastic back drop to an episode of Cincy Brewcast.  We not only tried the base beer, and the barrel aged version, but we dug into a couple other newer beers and had a long chat about how things have changed in the last year and a half.  It’s fun seeing how the direction of a brewery gets focused and refined as time moves, and Municipal is no different in that they now know who they are, and where they fit in an ever changing craft beer community more so than ever before!
