There are few celebrations that can be compared to Bockfest in Cincinnati.  It’s a unique beer style, it’s a unique festival and it’s the perfect time of year to get out of the house, and have a couple beers in the sunshine.  Where else can you burn a snowman effigy one week, and then dress up like a goat or a monk and march around the city without anyone looking at you strange?  We took this weeks episode as a chance to talk all things Bockfest (just in case you don’t know what it’s all about).  I was joined by Greg Hardman from Moerlein, Steve Hampton from the Brewing Heritage Trail and Roxanne Westendorf from the Bloatarian Brewing League.  This was a good one!

We not only talked about Bockfest and the homebrew competition that had just wrapped up right before the show started, but we also dug into the new ‘Original Lager’ that Christian Moerlein had just tapped (and announced) for the weekend.  There’s a lot to cover, it’s a doozy!
