Interview with Claudia Patino

Claudia Patino is a recent beauty school graduate from Ogle School. She has  a deep passion for all things beauty. After having a whole career in cyber security, Claudia needed a change and decided to restart her career in her true passion, beauty. While in school, Claudia competed in NATVA, where I proudly became a finalist.  Since graduating, Claudia has been getting some experience behind the chair in multiple salons to improve her speed and learn more about the industry. She has now opened her own business as a wedding  hair and makeup artist.

Torsten Witte known for his work in Bugonia, LA LA Land and Little Miss Sunshine got his start as a hair and make-up artist in Germany working in print and commercials until he decided to move into high-fashion, where owned his craft on the couture runways of Paris, Spain and New York. Torsten books numerous types of jobs ranging from celebrity personal appearances and press tours to music videos and film to editorials, where he can create a vision and look with each client. Although Torsten’s bookings are diverse, he enjoys working with everyone and developing the artist’s brand through the look he creates.

Jasmine is a professional hair stylist and pro makeup artist who works across TV, film, commercial, and editorial sets. She’s the founder of Jasmine Creates Beauty and the creative identity Creatively Jay, where she specializes in natural glam and polished, camera-ready looks.

A licensed cosmetologist trained at Empire Beauty School, Jasmine built on a strong foundation of self-taught styling skills she developed early in her career. Her experience includes on-set grooming, continuity, beauty coordination, and talent-ready preparation—always with an eye for details that hold up under lights and through long production days.

Her recent work includes hair department support for the TV production Deli Boys, contributing to the BeyGOOD Organization’s Black Parade campaign alongside members of Beyoncé’s makeup artist team, and beauty and styling for Ego Nwodim  in collaboration with Mr. Throwback.

Known for sleek ponytails, clean finishing techniques, and looks that translate beautifully on camera, Jasmine is also recognized for her reliability, clear communication on set, and ability to adapt quickly to production pacing. She’s motivated by discipline, continuous craft improvement, and beauty that enhances natural features rather than covering them.
