Vox Church - Lead Pastor Justin Kendrick

Mark chapter 5 introduces a collision of stories, but underneath the various stories God is telling one bigger story. Learn how this text shows us our deeper need in life and God's deeper answer.

Mark chapter 3 builds the tension in the story of Jesus and things begin moving to a tipping point. Jesus came to overthrow the powers, but he came for more than that. Through his life, death, and resurrection Jesus redefined power itself.

Mark chapter 2 tells the story of a paralyzed man, but the details of the story are included to teach us something more. What does Jesus reveal about himself? How does it apply to your life?

The gospel of Mark opens by making some audacious claims about Jesus. He is the promised messiah, the king of kings and the second person of the triune God. How does this vision of Jesus change our lives?

Everything changed when Jesus walked among them alive. The resurrection story has changed history and it still changes hearts today. But do you live like the story is true?

Unity in the church flows from rightly seeing Jesus—not as someone who serves our agenda, but as the true King who calls us to surrender, trust Him in confusion, and let go of what we’re holding onto. When we center our lives on Him, the gospel reshapes our hearts, leading us to humility, dependence, and deeper transformation.

Where might you be missing the real Jesus because you’re holding onto your own expectations?

Christians throughout history have sought God for his power but the gifts of the Holy Spirit often feel out of reach. How do Christians experience the power of the spirit in their lives?

Unity in the church never happens by accident. What makes the church different from the rest of the world? How has God entrusted the church with the key to unity?

In many ways the church is like a bag of diamonds. Sometimes the real and the fake are mixed together. How do we discern between genuine faith and false conviction? How do we grow as authentic followers of Christ?
