Nathaniel Holley talks with WAGM about HIV/AIDS Awareness he was diagnosed with HIV over ten years ago but he stated that although "he has been diagnosed you can still live a full life". He actually found out the his then partner had HIV while he was cleaning up their home. A year went by and he tested negative only to find out a short time after that he is positive. Several years later he is now an advocate for HIV/AIDS to encourage others to get tested and there are several ways to keep from spreading this virus. 58% of African American women have the leading cases of HIV mostly because people aren't talking about it enough and being educated on this virus. DeAndre stops by WAGM Studio and we talk about him owning his own media and entertainment company (Abstrack Global LLC). DeAndre grew up in Norfolk, Va. and he became an entrepreneur at the tender age of 8 years old. Thinking back over the years he states that he "believes that because he starting early with owning his own business made him how he is today". He started out with a small clip of a video that he did but during this time he wanted to learn how to edit videos with extra affects and all. He stated that "YouTube was his teacher" and he began to shoot video for rappers that later to now specializing in media and audio production. Dantwan stops by WAGM Studio. Dantwan is a tour manager, celebrity booking agent, marketing specialist and etc. He is a 35 year old single man who is heavily involved with his business and doesn’t have much free time. Although he is been in the entertainment field for about 10 years and before Covid he was doing anywhere from 3-5 shows a month. Early March Dantwan brought two celebrities to Hampton Roads on the same night, within in two different cities and both sold out. Shaq Jordan stops by WAGM Studio. Shaq is a filmmaker from Suffolk, Va. as well as the first person in his family to graduate college. He is inspired by Spike Lee, Tyler Perry and etc. Shaq initially wrote his film “ Intercession” for his class Thesis and after completing school he actually recreated the film. He wrote this film because he “felt he was giving all of himself to people and not receiving anything in return”. Intercession is a faith based film that pulls on your heartstrings.
