Britta Brown Whitehead son was murdered on Sept. 16, 2019 while standing in line for Gatorade at a corner store. Luis (Lou) Zambrana Jr. did not know the suspect who took his life. Britta is willing to work with anyone to end violence through guns or otherwise. While she doesn’t want her son life to be in  at the same time she wishes to prevent other mothers from enduring this unimaginable pain. Britta is currently working on a non profit in honor of her son. Gun Violence is at an all time high and Britta and her team are trying to implement some trainings and education to help our community.

We are talking with several fathers via video and in studio tonight as to what being a father looks like to them. DA grew up with his Father and Grand Father however he attributes they way he grew up was caused him to parent the way he does. He admits that he does parent his three children differently. DA stated that he looks at the tattoos of his children names on his arm and that gives him the push he needs to keep going. 

JJ Cook informed us that it was kind of hard while trying to have a baby with his wife. After several attempts they finally were blessed with not just one but two baby girls. The happy couple love every minute of it. A young father of two girls enjoys all that fatherhood has to offer however; he wants his girls to know that he loves them and that he would do anything for them. He wants to show his girls on how to grow up and just be good people in the world.

James one 10 year old daughter who mom recently died and therefore; he now has custody of her. Although he admits to not being perfect and he is committed to work at it daily. His kids know that "old man" is coming to aid them no matter the cost. James wants his kids to know that they can call on him at anytime.

Comedian Anguz Black stops by our Wait A Gam Minute Studio via Streamyard video and chat with me about everything from comedy, relationship, religion and so much more. Anguz Black admits that he learned a lot from the late Comedian Dick Gregory who died in 2017. Although Anguz is funny as hell but there are many sides to him. Very articulate and such as well rounded guy who happens to reside is Virginia. Traveling the world doing what he loves to do while being paid is just a added bonus for him. Anguz has worked in the radio as a radio personality while opening up for Bruce Bruce, Kat Williams and Rickey Smiley just to name a few.

Rhoda Young is a new reporter from Norfolk, Virginia where she reports the news live, raw and uncut sometimes as it is happening. Rhoda Young Live TV covers a wide range of action news such as fires, auto accidents, tenants issues, missing children and much more. Most importantly she has a very giving heart and she is willing to help those in need. Rhoda reports the local news before Wavy TV 10, Channel 3 and Channel 13 most of the time. Although she is reporting news live from the Hampton Roads area she is known nationally. Rhoda reports that what is next for her is to one day run for an elected position such as Mayor, City Councilman or maybe a Senator and she also states "who knows one day I might be your boss that's why you have to be careful how you speak to people". Our conversation went great while her viewers got to see another side of her.

Herbert "Big Herb" Smith owner of Professional Touch Barber Shop in Suffolk, Va. Big Herb has been cutting hair since he was 12 years old and he has own his own barber shop for over 25 years. He also an instructor and helps with the youth at the local detention center. He is also known for his jovialness, storytelling and a listening ear. When life happens to him as well as others he states that " he prays about it and don't let whatever get him down". Big Herb advice to other barbers and business owners to keep going, don't listen to what everyone is saying, perfect your craft and do what makes you happy with a balance.

Unapologetic and Unfiltered conversation that we have weekly.  Our conversations tonight we talk about several different topics.

If you had a baby and you found out later that your baby father isn't actually the father and you have given the baby his last name?

Have you heard of the "Cussing Pastor" out of New Orleans? The Pastor believes that he can curse when or where ever he wants. His theory is that God didn't say you can't curse neither is it a sin. We researched him  and while we believe that he is funny but we honestly could not be a member of his congregation.

Do you parent your children as your parent(s) raised you? We believe that most of the time we do parent the same way unless there was some type of trauma. Sometimes hurt people hurt people and with that being said people have still raised their children the way they were raised.   

Porsha Williams from House Wives of Atlanta is now engaged with a cast mates soon to be ex-husband. Do you feel it was wrong? Did she break up their marriage? Would you forgive her. Listen to our view on it and how we actually feel.

76th Del. Clint Jenkins of Suffolk, Va. stops by our studio and talk about some of the new laws that he help get passed for the State of Virginia. This will be his second time running for this elected office in which he currently holds as the Democratic Nominee. 

We wanted to know why we only see those who are running for office during the election time and not after? House of Delegates is a part time position and normally during the months of Jan and Feb. unless it's a need for special assembly.

We learned a lot tonight in such a short time but most importantly we laughed.

Although our time with him was short we appreciated that he took time out to come and chat with us.

Justice reform addresses structural issues in criminal justice systems such as racial profiling, police brutality, overcriminalization, mass incarceration and recidivism.

Prison reform is the attempt to improve conditions inside prisons, improve the effectiveness of a penal system, or implement alternatives to incarceration. 

We all have some family or friends that this has affected in one way or another. As citizens we must know our rights and where we stand. I do believe if you do the crime than of course you must do the time.  

Most of the time African Americans are the ones that are sentenced to more time in jail or prison then any other race.

After talking with Linda and Kari we learned that Virginia does not have parole as of 1995 and the jury in these cases were not given this information. 

Hopefully after this episode you will be enlightened as well on how the system is designed to hold one captive.
